Food was good as usual. Glad it wasn't our first time because the chef seemed to be either new or incapable of putting on a great show. He did okay, just not awesome... and he def did not know how to throw the shrimp 😂. We had t ask him to do it btw. Not a bit deal, just comparing to all the other visits.
I'd only been here for brunch, and it was relatively calm. This time, I came on a Saturday night and it seemed like everyone was having a birthday, there were kids running around, people yelling, etc. I didn't mind THAT much (yay for people celebrating!) but I'd gone hoping for a nice dinner and it was kind of chaotic. Keep that in mind when considering Kobe. The food was ok, but I feel it is a touch overpriced. Service was great. My sushi was made incorrectly and...
Out service was excellent, the chief did an amazing show and he made us all laugh. The food was delicious as always. My daughter loves this place, so we will definitely keep coming back.
