We have enjoyed the sandwiches from Pierside Press for years. Delicious! Fresh! They made it so easy to have a picnic at the beach. Yesterday, we tried to go there, to find that they are closed due to the sale of their building. NOOO! Such a loss for Seal Beach. I hope they can find another location. We will miss them terribly.

Today I am mourning the loss of Gobbler + Arnold Palmer. This place was a gem in the culinary junkyard of Seal Beach. I hope you guys find a new place, you deserve it. I went up the street to get an Italian sub and I'm still digesting it 8 hours later. You guys rock.

Great little "sandwich shop" with views of the coast. Owned by a friendly couple, the food is exceptional and served with an artisan flare. Homemade popcorn with a hint of Carmel. Homemade sauce with the Breakfast burrito. Haven't had a bad item yet. There is no seating here. There are benches to sit on, many people walk across the street to watch the ocean, and of course take out is plentiful.

GET THERE BEFORE 11AM AND GET YOURSELF A BREAKFAST BURRITO!!!!!!!! If you didn't guess by my opening line, their breakfast burritos are THE BEST! Worth the drive, walk, whatever you have to do to get one, do it! I get the egg and cheese one (hint hint, it comes with potatoes in it!) Also, don't sleep on the sauce that it comes with! It's like a sriracha sour cream and adds just the right amount of spice. Seriously my favorite. Go. Just go now. Run!

Outstanding! For a tiny little beachside sandwich shop, this place does food right. They have a good variety of sandwiches along with some daily specials. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the sandwiches are terrific. They're open during COVID. It's the perfect place to grab a fresh sandwich to eat at the beach across the street. Don't forget your beach blanket!!

Hubby is always in search of a great sandwich and I love the ocean. We both got what we wanted and then some. We came here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and ordered the Gobbler and Corned Beef and cabbage. Service was quick. There are no tables, which wouldn't have made a difference because there are plenty of benches and grass across the street...plus the ocean and pier. The Gobbler was good. The cranberry chutney was a nice touch. The Corned beef and cabbage was my favorite. I liked everything about it. The corned beef was not dry and the slaw was on the verge of being messy (for eating on a bench) but manageable. Whatever bread they use for the sandwiches is SOOOO good! Slightly crunchy exterior, soft interior. YUMMMM! We will definitely be back because there are so many other sandwiches to eat!

This place is great and conveniently located in the heart of seal beach! The southwest panini was mighty yummy and had just the right amount of zing! Sandwich came with some kettle corn which was very cool!

Delicious food and great service. This is one of our favorite places in Seal Beach. The adults love the Pierside and Ocean Ave and the kids love the grilled cheese and the PB Nutella and banana (and the popcorn). We have always enjoyed everything we have tried from here!
