Seasoning was very dry. Good flavor , don't recommend. Over cooked shrimp was hard to peel.

This was by far the best seasoned crab legs I've ever had ! Unconventional delivery, but that just added to the experience ! I need to buy your kowa bunga seasoning !!

I want to give this place a five but I cannot. The reasons being 1, SERVICE or lack of, and 2. sustainability. We arrived as the restaurant opened. The waitress/hostess said, "sit where you want." No big deal we did. We explained it was our first time and she explained how to order. We ordered. She delivered the food. Never checked on us, never offered more drinks, and never delivered our check. We went to the counter to pay and she remained sitting and did not even stand at the register. When you arrive, there is paper on EVERY table for the food. The food is delivered double bagged in two thick plastic bag, despite the name of the restaurant being Crab BUCKET. Drinks in plastic cups, salt and pepper individually wrapped in and then put into a plastic container, plastic bibs, plastic gloves, and limes in a plastic ziploc. Too much plastic going into the landfill. I cannot justify eating there again. Lunch for us was not too $$$. Everything is pricey. We had crab, sausage, crawfish, potato, and clams. Several clams did not open and that is unfortunate. My favorite item was the potato! Overall, I will not return. Glad I gave it a go, but not for me. And, if nothing else, I really appreciate waitstaff that gives more than nothing.

We were looking for seafood near our hotel. The crab was old, the shrimp large, but not cleaned well, and we asked for not spicy anything. Hubby added sausage and 2 corn cobettes (at an additional charge), and the waitress failed to mention that the sausage was spicy. The garlic butter sauce had no flavor. The best part of our meal was the corn!

I went to Monterey for a weekend getaway , Crab Bucket was delivered to my hotel room faster than I could un pack my suit case . It was so delicious ... This is my new crab spot when I come back to Monterey . Also I had a problem with my Door Dash refund the associate was very nice and the Manager Luna called me on her day off and was so professional and accommodating !! check this place out , you won't be disappointed !!

I visited this location during labor day. The food is good. Crab a bit small but tasty. However, feel like staff needs to be trained. Was sat and order was taken after 20 mins. When food was finally served we werent given any utensils. We had to ask several times for the things we needed. We werent rude and tried to be understanding however one of the workers was a bit rude and was upset when i asked for the things i was missing and told me if i didnt see that they were busy. The place has lots of potential if the staff is properly trained.

The flavor is good but seafood tasted old. Also shrimp was not deveined that was a bit unappealing but may be common for seafood boil places. If the shrimp was fresher or the vein was removed it would be a great option

Horrible I won't be back. They were out of many items. Service was slow and they didn't have the proper items to crush the crab legs to get to the meat. Hopefully they improve with some time. We were disappointed.
They serve your food in a plastic bag, not a bucket! It took almost 40 min. to get our order and it did not look appetizing in that plastic bag placed on the table with no dinner plates. I asked for the seasoning on the side and they put about 1/3 cup of melted butter with the crab, clams, and corn in that bag. The waitress gave us plastic gloves since it was so greasy and just a big mess. We ended up leaving and not eating that grease bomb bag! Total price was over $55 bucks...Not worth the wait or the food! Besides the waste of paper and plastic... ugh--(people were going by w/garbage cans full to dump outside!)

Food was very good. The reason for the 2 stars is the service was horrible horrible horrible.... and it was Father's day and we were in before a big rush. But I had to wait 30 mins for my plate and they gave my Father's food to another table and ended up giving him the wrong flavor. We didn't want to send it back because we had to wait even longer for his. Both my son and my mom finished there food and we still never got ours even with us asking and asking the waitress.

What a uncivilized way of eating. They give you a bag that was very messy and you had to try to eat from that. What a mess. Everything taste the same. Certainly not a good choice for me or anyone that wants a good seafood dinner. Again...what a mess.

Got the taste for crab boil? Well here's the scoop on the crab in the bag! I grabbed shrimp with added corn,sausage,potatoes and it was so good. One crab that was 1.5 lbs. it was okay, not as good as the boil. We were very satisfied and had more than enough to enjoy with the order for two. Cool staff, they serve beer and the food was cooked fresh.

Num num ! We were in Monterey and realized that the short trip to seaside would save us money and time. This place is fast and yummy!! I would suggest that they serve some sort of margaritas or non beer drinks. Installing a hand washer would be awesome since we're all getting our hands messy !
