Would have been great busines practice for them to remake my dinner order since THEY GAVE IT TO THE WRONG PERSON. Instead they just cancelled it, leaving me and my family without dinner. Thank God for ramen. Will NOT support a busines that doesn't value it's customers. Too bad, especially since I will certainly share my experience with everyone I can.So in response to not being pleased with the lack of customer service I received a suggestion that it was somehow either my Dasher or my fault that THEY gave my order to the wrong Dasher BEFORE mine arrived. Now exactly how should I take it up with him? He got there and YOU had not done your due diligence to make sure it was the right driver. Honestly I really was VERY excited to try your place out and give you a great review and frankly had you handled the situation with more care I would be doing just that. Anyone can make a mistake but to blame the victim and take absolutely no accountability is just not the way to develop good rapport with the community you serve. BTW I almost NEVER write bad reviews and would have happily given another chance had the response from El Pollo Rey been different.

Delicious and filling. The Pollo was the star of the meal. Definitely recommend!
I got a vegetarian burrito and let me tell you…This burrito was so good. They definitely filled that bad boy up and I was a huge fan of that. The guac was out of this world and I loved the flavor of the grill. We also got tons of sauces, and pickled onions and grilled onions. I had food for both lunch and dinner. I was a really big fan of this one and will be coming back very often. Super good! Was supposed to just take a bite in the car and ending up taking half of it haha

Chicken is Chicken however this tastes different, smoky chared moist. You can't stop eating every little bit. Also great Carne asada quesadillas. Now they offer wings so good big full of flavor ?

It's easily the best chicken in Monterey! the grilled pepper and onion are a delight! If you live in Monterey, you must go. If you are just visiting, what an awesome find some of the best chicken in the country!

Can only rate the food because we got taken out. The gf and I are visiting Monterey for a week, working remote, and wanted something healthy as we had been eating out more than we usually do, being on a work-cation. This really hit the spot. Really nice chicken, rice, and beans, with a delicious salsa on the side. Out of towners be warned, their fresh salsa has some heat, and the grilled serranos can really pack a punch. I was so happy to have a delicious grilled meal with fluffy rice and flavorful beans. Thanks so much for the great meal.
