Perfectly preserved from 1988, there's no denying this place is legendary. Brown tiles, faded business cards, comics so worn you can't find the punchline. Check it out before it's gone!My muffuletta had that '88 flavor, too. Although my meat was cut to order, the ham showed some signs of discoloring. I wasn't expecting pimento cheese, and the olive tapenade didn't hit right. A relic, with not too much future ahead.

This is one of our lunchtime staples and the food has been consistently good over the years. Love the muffaletta, and the blackened chicken sandwich as well as their gumbo (just enough spice!). Just be sure to bring cash!
