❌Fishwife (~2016):
Summarized: a Mexican seafood restaurant. Service was outstanding. They even knocked off a few dollars for our virgin Piña Colada (since we ordered w/o alcohol). Military discount offered.

Went twice while on the Penninsula. Oysters really fresh,garlic fries too good! Everyone was happy with their choices, both times. Pasta was good, Calamari steak was okay* wish it had been lightly grilled w/ butter,garlic n wht wine(& not covered n smothered) I prefer a classic to embellished. Waitress was funny & kind. I gave her a sparkly bangle, as she had some fun with our medium sized group, semi- entertaining, while the food took a little while(we arrived a bit later...
It is an enjoyable seafood spot. The staff was accommodating and kind. The food was good and filling. It didn't feel like a tourist trap seafood restaurant either. Just a calm little place to enjoy clam chowder or sand dab. I ordered mine blackened. While the Cajun spice was nice, the blackened fish felt like it was missing something like a little more butter or salt. The texture was amazing. The vegetables and rice pilaf were pretty standard, but could use a bit of retooling...
