We got lost looking for a different restaurant and ended up coming to this one. We were not disappointed. Excellent service, they checked on us frequently and were flexible with out order, super nice too. The food was great, portions were great, hot when it came, and tasted amazing. The place is also huge!

Stopped into this place to give it a try. The place is huge and shares the parking lot with dominos pizza. When we entered, we were greeted by the staff sitting down and asking if we wanted it for here or to go. They didn't seem very busy. They handed us menus and they had the standard offerings you would expect to see, however the appetizers didn't have any prices, I'll come back to that. I ordered a carne asada burrito mojado (wet burrito) with green sauce and my wife ordered two carne asada tacos and we also ordered carne asada nachos appetizer. We asked for ice tea and a Fanta to drink. They said they didn't have any. Confused because they had a large beverage cooler stocked to the brim with various drinks. I saw they had jarritos and Arizona ice tea so we asked for that. They brought me a little can of honey green tea ice tea and "found" a mandarin jarritos in the back that was warm and brought us cups with ice. Again confused because they had them in the beverage cooler visible. Maybe they were for to go orders? Anyways. The wait was very reasonable and we received our entrees first and they looked pretty good. Unfortunately you can hear the constant beeping from chef mike (microwave) being used to prepare our meals. About 5 mins later our nachos appetizer came out. A huge plate covered with all the fixings. Again the food was tasty but nothing too spectacular. I wasn't able to finish the monstrous burrito or the landfill of nachos. When it came time to pay we went up to the counter. On the menu my burrito was listed as $13.99 and my wife's tacos were $3.50 ea, so $7 total. That with the nachos and drinks we had an idea of our bill in our heads. To our surprise the bill was $48 and some change. The nachos were almost $20 alone. As I mentioned in the beginning, no prices listed for the appetizers. All in all, it wasn't terrible, but I don't think we won't come back with all the different options available in the area.

I love the quality of the food because it is fresh and made at the moment I recommend the grilled shrimp and the cocktails and the delicious seven seas to seafood lovers I love the customer service I feel at home with everyone how friendly they are they are I love being there thanks the portals

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Los Portales. I love coming here, the staff are always so welcoming and warm, they treat you like family when you are here. The prices are awesome and the environment is comfortable. And then there is the food! In all honesty, I could eat their tacos everyday and still crave more. Everything is fresh and so delicious! They make this special salsa and it reminds me of the salsa my abuelita used to make. I hadn't tasted salsa that good in years and it reminded me of being home with my family . Do yourself a favor, give them a shot, you will not be disappointed! ❤

This is my new favorite! One of the BEST food I’ve ever had! My kids loved their food too! Tasty tasty ! I’d give them a 10 star if I could! Staff was super SUPER friendly and attentive! Liz even shared one of her recipes with me !! Seriously! You need to try it!!

Went there for late lunch with my family. They were very curteous and friendly from the beginning when we entered the restaurant. We were given the right amount of time to order our food and drinks. Food was made to order, so everything was fresh and delicious. Must try if you want true Mexican food.
