Food is nice. We brought a lot of wine little corkage. Limited to two bottles, overpriced Don’t really care. It’s kinda overpriced could be incredible, but they don’t really care about the people eating here. Wine list is mostly French and limited and super expensive. Have fun with that when you close inside of a month lol your attitude out strips any quality of the food we asked nicely multiple times.

Elevated comfort food with a few minor twists (branzino gets the au poivre treatment; lamb lightened up with lots of watercress) but all familiar enough for our teen daughters to love. Big buzzy room and standout friendliness from our server. Just a delight.

Every dish was a delight! Weekend trip to Monterey to do some whale watching with the fam…. Looking for a nice dinner place, found a table for 5 in this restaurant. Turned out to be a memorable meal!
The whole branzinho a la poivre was the best we have ever eaten. The appetizers, especially the beets, were fantastic. The yams were quite a surprise - smoky and flavorful. The lamb was succulent and tender, with an amazing sauce, the thickness of the slices were just right. Scallops and clams also had a wonderful flavor. We almost licked the plates off. Even the desserts were thoughtfully made!
I think we might just have to visit again, even if it’s a couple of hours from the Bay Area. Kudos to the chef!

Can’t understand how this place is Michelin recommended. The food was very average. We had the milk bread (good but every Asian bakery can make it), smoked beet salad (lovely paired with parsley salad), eggplant (undercooked and ALSO with parsley salad). For mains we had the royale with cheese (really good burger), the lamb (AGAIN WITH PARSLEY SALAD, not to mention it was tough) and the tai snapper which was excessively salty and full of bones despite it being described as deboned. The staff were swept off their feet and wine arrived after we had finished our meal. I don’t know if there was a market special on parsley but it honestly didn’t have to be served with every dish. I wouldn’t recommend this place

Sarah was absolutely amazing, very attentive and gave awesome service. Food was beyond delicious and cocktails were phenomenal. Highly recommend if you want to experience some food thats out of this world, the Danabe Rice was to die for!! Must try for anyone that's interested in something with high quality but still laid back.

The burger is out of this world. Seriously. Simply well made. Each bite is juicy, cheesy, meaty yet fresh. 10/10.

A quirky and surprising culinary diamond in Seaside. The menu features super local ingredients that showcase the rich bounty of the area. Fish is the showcase item, but the other items will make your mouth water as well.

The hors d'oeuvre/starters are 5 star. Hamachi crudo, octopus, broccolini, beets oysters etc. All fantastic.
We were somewhat disappointed in the mains. The pork bellies were so-so. The halibut was dry and a bit overcooked. The steak and morels were good but not great.
This was our 2nd visit and we will be back, but may be to just order small plates to share

Food was delicious, staff friendly.
I loved the broccolini and grilled octopus with red pepper sauce.
The halibut with the corn was good. The halibut was cooked more than I like but still tasty.

The restaurant has a very cozy space with atmosphere of art, which makes me surprised. Seafood is very fresh and steak is tender and delicious. The green vegetables which recommended by the staff is also amazing. Even the dessert, nice and warm staff told us that it is popular because of not so sweet. Really know the taste of dessert for Asian people

Everything is wonderful. I especially loved the layout and decor. Having the kitchen at the front of the house makes it feel very homey.
