Dutton-Goldfield Winery

We happened upon this family-owned, small tasting room on our way back from Bodega Bay. I am so grateful we found this place. Lynn was absolutely amazing! She was welcoming and knowledgeable, an absolute GEM! The placed was packed and she still managed to make us feel special. We enjoyed EVERY wine we tasted & took a bunch home. Do not sleep on this amazing winery. Family run business doing it all the right way.

We had a thoroughly wonderful experience at our tasting at Dutton-Goldfield. Lynn was both very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. Her enthusiasm for the winery and wines is evident and made for a very pleasant experience.

Our hostess Lynn was so nice to us. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the wines. She didn't rush our visit but was attentive when we seemed to finished with our sample before presenting the next. There's never a disappointment with Dutton-Goldfield.

Dutton Goldfield makes several excellent non-oaky, non-buttery Chardonnays and a very large number of single vineyard Pinot Noirs all the way from Docker Hill in Mendocino County to Devil’s Gulch in Marin County. They are all outstanding and cover a wide range from bright floral and fruity to dark full-bodied wines that could stand up to a Thanksgiving turkey. The tasting room staff is friendly and knowledgeable; the physical facility is very pleasant both indoors and out.

The hospitality at Dutton-Goldfield is top notch. They have a beautiful patio, which is a superb setting for enjoying their breadth of beautifully-made wines. I've visited from out of state more than once and will keep them on my list to visit again and again!

Stumbled into Dutton Goldfield and honestly? Vibes immaculate. The wines are chef’s kiss (don’t sleep on the Pinot), the space is gorgeous, and the staff makes you feel like you’re part of the crew from the jump. Vivian is absolutely exceptional. She gives you just the right amount of wine history while making you feel like you’re in your families kitchen. Big energy, zero pretension , just straight-up good times and great pours. If you’re looking for a spot where you can actually relax, laugh, and sip some seriously delicious wine, this is it. Will be back for sure!

It was such a beautiful setting. So relaxing and such an enjoyable experience tasting amazing wines with family.

We went to the Pinot and Paella party on Sept 20 and had a wonderful time!! The paella was fabulous as well as the accompanying salad and fresh bread/cilantro spread. The wine was also fabulous - as well as the service!!

I highly recommend a visit to this winery! Megan was the perfect host. We requested indoor setting and were very pleased with the beautiful leather couches we were set up at. The pinot noirs are the signature and are beautiful and well liked, even by those who prefer bigger reds or cabs. We left with more bottles than we anticipated.
