Literally my new favorite restaurant in Sebastopol. We had the polenta ratatouille, and the rice and greens. Both were absolutely delicious. Also love their animal sanctuary mission and dedication. Gluten friendly options aplenty, clearly marked gf on the menu.

Our first visit on an early Friday night with reservations. Sat on the lovely outdoor patio under a gorgeous ancient Oak on a relatively quiet street behind the Barlow. Everything we had was delicious! Seasonal amuse bouche of radish with cashew cream, Aracini, Mediterranean plate and Very good Greens! Refreshing watermelon basil shrub. Service was very attentive and friendly by all. We’ll definitely be back, recommend for fresh, local, seasonal and organic nourishment, and will save room for carrot cake. Thank you!

Went for the Arancini balls, but also got the pesto pasta and carrot cake. Soo delicious. IT was absolutely hard to choose what to try. Will definitely be back for the Gochujang tofu sandwich - which looked absolutely amazing.

Food was amazing, plant based and focused on that which was really nice. Beautiful location and lovely outdoor seating. We caught them on a busy night but everything still went really well. Would definitely go back as well as recommend to friends.

Fantastic, we tried the Mediterranean Board, Very Good Greens, Gochujang Tofu Sandwich, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Parfait. Everything was delicious. The outdoor seating area is clean and fairly well shaded, with a nice ambience. We'll definitely be back!

This was a marvelous dinner from beginning to end. Everything was plant based without the abundance of fake meat that often comes with that term. My greens were so flavorful. My husband's polenta was also rich and tasty. We had a cheese board as well and they were all very creamy and delicious. Amazing what can be done without dairy. We ended the meal with a super moist carrot cake. It was excellent. Our waitress Cece had great recommendations and was so helpful.
Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is plant based.

I liked our drinks. The guava cider and a shrug. They gave us a complimentary gazpacho which was really great. My favorite food was the appetizer that comes in ball shapes and sounds fancy. I was glad to order them because it's hard to find vegan cheese sticks and that's what they resembled to me. I didn't like the cheese plate because I didn't like the cheeses. Normally I love vegan cheese plates. The salad was ok but I haven't found a radicchio recipe that I like yet. The wait staff was really friendly. The outdoor and indoor eating area were very aesthetically pleasing to me. I sat so that I could see both since their indoor area was opened up to the outdoors. Vegan place is you didn't know that yet. I think the menu changes but I'm not sure about that.

Very nice atmosphere with a porch and outdoor seating. Great food options and gives the flavor of a very expensive high-end restaurant with chefs, but it wasn’t ridiculously expensive considering how great the food is and how great the presentation is I had flavorful greens over a tasty rice cake with some mushrooms and it was excellent. I wish I could try everything. Entries are in the $20-$25 range.. I really felt like I’ve been out to high-end restaurant, and yet everything is made of plants. They brought me a complementary “watermellon-lemon gazpacho“ while I was waiting, and it was a perfect thing to sip and was just amazingly flavorful. I really can’t say enough about this place. It’s on the backend of “the Barlow” and gives the feeling of almost to being out in the country, I wish this place only the greatest success.
What a special place! The atmosphere is sonoma chic and comfortable with a large, nice, outdoor area with incredibly friendly staff. The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, which are not (meat) substitution heavy, something most plant based restaurants fall into doing. Lots of inventive dishes that knocked out of the park (one of which was mushroom ceviche), you would never know that the cheese was plant based by the presentation and taste, and the carrot cake was by far the best I’ve ever had.
Treat yourself, go here!
Dietary restrictions: The whole menu is vegan, but lots of GF options as well.

Deborah Blum and her team have hit it out of the park with Sonoma Countys newest vegan restaurant, Goatlandia Kitchen in Sebastopol next to the Barlow! The food is so delicious, very reasonably priced and the service and ambiance were excellent !! Thank you ! Monica
We were very happy that Goatlandia has opened a sit-down restaurant. We enjoyed the venue, which has some tables on a covered patio and other tables under some fine shade trees. The food was great and the portions were generous. Our party had the bruschetta, cucumber salad, 2 kinds of pasta and a cobbler desert. All good. We have some special dietary needs and they were very accommodating. The service overall was exemplary. Highly recommended!
Vibey yard with beautifully prepared pre fix meal and drinks.
Kid-friendliness: Fenced in space with a lot of space to run around.
