Happen to catch this place when they were open, most of the time they are closed when we drive by. Ordered pulled pork sandwich and tri tip sandwich. Smoker was going outside as they finished off ribs which looked good. I love tri trip sandwiches - at noon they were out (or didn't make) the horseradish spread that was suppose to come with the sandwich so they used a garlic aioli. This overpowered the thinly sliced meat. We pulled the meat out wiped off as much garlic and it still fell short. Sandwich was on a wonderful soft roll made by a local bakery, but the sandwich was just garlic aioli and tri tip- and not a lot of tri tip. Meat was lost in garlic and bread. 2 stars at best and that was for the great bread. Wouldn't get this again. Pulled pork sandwich- pork was mixed with bbq sauce on a soft grocery store bun (package on counter), with basic coleslaw that had chunks of apple. The pork was reheated in microwave, generous portion, the apple chunks too thick ... sandwich was good but we've had better.. nothing spectacular. The slaw was a basic slaw - aside from apples- it tastes like a prepared / assembled product. We were going to get the potato or mac salad, but was told it too was store bought, so we passed. Super disappointing. Overall not really impressed with flavor or lack of care.

Really good barbecue restaurant that’s only been open a year and a half. The tri-tip is really good, and the bbq ribs literally fall of the bone.. the man Marvin himself works the front and is an awesome person.Plenty of drinks to choose from, but no dessert options that I saw.My only little complaint was that the ribs don’t come with sauce. It makes them kind of dry.

My wife and I ordered ribs and pulled pork with baked beans and potato salad and it was SO GOOD!! The ribs were tender, juicy, and *exquisitely* seasoned! Most BBQ places make theirs bland or dry or both, but Marvin knocked it out of the park. The pulled pork was quite good, too, but those ribs were a hard act to follow :-) The serving sizes were larger than expected. I'm a big guy and an order of ribs filled me up. My wife tucked half of her order into the fridge as leftovers. We are definitely eating there again!Dietary restrictions: I'm diabetic, so have to be careful about the sugar in most BBQ sauces, but Marvin's didn't spike my blood sugar at all. Whatever he uses for the ribs and pulled pork, it seems to be low-sugar (maybe even no sugar?)

Food and service are 10 stars. I am not a BBQ connoisseur, but I know what I like and this place is amazing. Ribs, beans, coleslaw and pulled pork are all delicious and most portions end up becoming leftovers which makes me even happier. Marvin is also a very kind person, we are lucky to have him. Be careful though, they (totally understandably!) sell out frequently so if you are expecting to have this for dinner make sure and call early to reserve whatever you want.

This place really hit the spot on a rainy day. We got all 4 sides (baked beans, slaw, potato and Mac salad) and pork ribs and pulled pork and it was all really delicious - ribs were fall off the bone tender with tons of smoke flavor!!! Vibes inside are very chill with good tunes and seating options and $7 drafts all day???? 4.50 drafts 12-4 Mon-Friday??? Sign me up. Marvin served us and helped us with the menu options and was really personable and nice. We will be frequenting this joint.

Our first time there, and it was delicious! The ribs are cooked perfectly, juicy and it just falls of the bone. The tri-tip was wonderful and made perfectly. The sides we got we're delicious. $10-20 for meals, but theirs enough food for 2 servings. Definitely coming back to try more!

This man knows what he is doing! The pork ribs are tender and juicy, with a tangy bbq sauce. The chicken is incredible, nice and moist, and the seasonings are really delicious. I'm definitely having those again. I loved the beans too--just the right amount of smokiness. This place is definitely a go-to for me.
