They have a great selection. My family and I come to buy desserts for each holiday. We have not been disappointed! Their Christmas Trees are my favorite dessert. I would recommend grabbing a dessert.

We stood at the counter for over a minute with no-one there. Then a young lady came up, on the phone taking an order. In no way did she acknowledge our presence. So, after another minute we left.

I went to buy a gluten free cookie at Patisserie Angelica. The selection was only one kind. It was a triple chocolate cookie. I got out to my car and bit into it and it tasted stale. Not the first thing I got there that was stale so this time I decided I wanted to exchange it for something else, they had a gluten free brownie for a dollar more. I went in to exchange it and they refused.
They claimed that it had been baked just that morning. Mind you it was 11:30 am when I purchased the cookie. Since I eat only gluten free, I am aware that what I get is often stale due to it being less popular than regular items.
I will never buy anything from there again.
The amount of money they make in that place, where one cake is $50 and they would rather lose a client over a dollar?

Absolutely fantastic bakery. I’ve never been disappointed. The brownies and scones are remarkable. All of the special order cakes my family has tried has been remarkable - the frangipane tart, apricot cake, and chocolate cake are all standouts.

Oh, so lovely. An authentic European bakery with delightful offerings. The little cakes are fantastic. Definitely worth a stop for a little snack or to pick up dessert.

My first and last visit here, was trying to find a good fresh decadent treat. Not grocery store bakery, here in Guerneville there’s no more old fashioned bakery. So this bakery came up on search nearby , I needed to go to WF anyway. So I went to this place today, was around 2:30ish on a Saturday. One person sitting, one employee. Employee was very good, some things had prices some didn’t. First thing I noticed, how tiny most pastries are. Even macrons were tiny @$3 each ! I bought the raspberry/rose flavored, 2 of them. They were so hard and stale, I was extremely disappointed. I also bought a vanilla bean tiny cake, and a tiny lemon meringue tart. No prices on the tarts or cakes, the macrons did. I haven’t eaten the cake or tart yet, I’ll update when I do. I just ate 1 of the macrons, as I said so hard and stale not much flavor either sadly. Sorry if I drug out my opinion, just wanted y’all to get the jist of my experience. I put a quarter next to the macron for size judgment total cost for these items was $30, I’ll try anywhere at least once. If it’s worth the price in my opinion, I’ll be back for sure. My guess with the ratings/reviews of this place, are maybe because of there cakes ? One thing that sticks out more then anything in the pastry case, everything was so small. Even the cupcakes, really small @$5 each
Update, like the cookies stale. Vanilla bean cake was very dry, icing dry cracked. Good flavor, but sadly stale. The lemon meringue tart, very rubbery. I was so craving a light flaky butter crust, it was not even close…sadly. I’m guessing maybe they were made earlier in the week ? Didn’t see any dates under, sometimes there’s a little sticker under the paper/tray. Being as stale as they all were, should have been a markdown in my opinion, how often do they taste their own products after a few days ? Maybe they should? I’d want to know I’m selling the items that make people want to come back, first impression is so important. Back to searching for a good old fashioned bakery

Parking: Parking is good, next to the cinema so lots of parking

$25 for two small deserts and an iced coffee! The small lemon tart was over $9 with soggy pastry, rubbery filling. Seemed like it was a few days old. Really ridiculous prices for what we got. Nothing like the real deal in France. Would not recommend on many levels.

My fiancé and I came for a cake tasting - having booked well over 2 months in advance. We were so excited but left disappointed. Sorry for the long post.We were called the day before to see if could move the date from Sat to Fri - unfortunately we couldn't and when we replied such, we were advised that it would be ok. I wish they would have told us why they were trying to reschedule. Because we would have moved the date… we just couldn’t meet on a Friday. After driving over 2.5hrs we get to the shop -super cut by the way! – We walked in and waited or turn in line. A couple came in behind us and the host asked them if they were there for hi-tea and then turned to us and asked if she could seat them first. I said no problem – but when they asked if they could use the room where the tasting occurred, the hosted advised them that room was reserved for a cake tasting and she was waiting for them to arrive. I interrupted and said, yes that is us. She didn’t even ask how to help us even though she clearly knew we were there first – and waiting. Once she realized that she seated us first. I am thinking she didn’t think we were the couple because we have our daughter with us and that maybe we were in there to just order baked good. I am not sure why customers are treated differently when they walk in.I was a little put off by that but tried not to let it bother me – things happen. I wanted to make the best of this experience. After we were seated, we were told that someone would be right with us. The baker came in and told us that she was covering for the person – I think the owner – because she was at the festival serving her Mediterranean food. That baker was super sweet but really just gave us a plate of cakes and waked away. We couldn’t share our design ideas, ask questions about pricing or delivery. We were instructed to call the owner on her cell later. Honestly, we didn’t know who we were meeting, and they could not have said anything – I wouldn’t have known the difference.I felt really slighted. First by being overlooked by the host and then by the owner for choosing to work at the festival and not work with potential clients. And to top it off, the whole reason we came was because they made tiramisu cakes – they made us pay extra to taste it. And it wasn’t even good – couldn’t taste the coffee at all.All of these things were minor and normally would have bothered me so much but combined they really painted a picture that didn’t sit well with me. This situation could have been handled so much better, and various times.- When you call to try and reschedule you can say that unfortunately something came up and we can’t meet the date and try to find out another time that would work- Serve customers in the order they come in- Maybe don’t tell potential clients that a food festival is more important than their wedding cake.- Have someone work the festival for the hour it took for the tasting.

This place is phenomenal! Starting with the atmosphere, it definitely has an European feel to it that I’ve rarely seen elsewhere. The pastries are works of art, and incredibly delicious. You can taste the care and love they put into their craft. The special occasion cakes are incredible. They truly care about their customers and create a welcoming and delightful atmosphere.

Visit Patisserie Angelica, everything is delicious! My personal favorite is Gateau Parisian, which I haven't found at any other patisserie around Bay Area and surrounding areas. It's light, unique, delicious, and leaves you wanting to have another one. Very European, which is an uncommon treat for the area.  But  everything else is a must try as well.

Recently had the pleasure of having owner, Gergana, create a custom cake for my grandma's 100th Birthday celebration. Two layers, one was Almond Apricot Cake  (also unique and quite delicious cake you can't find anywhere else in the nearby 100+ radius area) and the other Tahitian Vanilla Bean Cake (delicate, light and to fit most taste-buds) were gone in matter of minutes. Design paid tribute to my grandma's interests (love for lilacs and cross-stitching) and Gergana captured conceptual design and doodle mockups in such a beautiful and neat detail that I, Grandma, and everyone was marveling at it every chance we got. We didn't want to cut into the cakes to ruin the creation, but glad we did because the cakes were incredibly tasty.  Grateful to Gergana for her care, attention to detail, patience working with me and my requests. Her customer care and patisserie skills capture you (well they captured me) and you're happy to be coming back for more, even when you have to commute to them hour-and-a-half + (without traffic, one way). My family and I are amazed at your skills and appreciate you taking such artistic and baking expertise and care into making this cake.  This cake creation was memorable, unique, and scrumptious, and left a very personal and touching imprint on my Grandma's special day and for all of us celebrating. Thank you!

TLDR; Great selection of pastries. Skip the coffee and get the tea instead. We came in first thing in the morning and there was already a line, which moves quite slowly- so if you’re not big on waiting, get here sharp at opening time.Food: we ordered the almond peach tart, almond chocolate croissants and a blueberry scone - everything was so incredibly good. The croissants are so flaky, and probably the best I’ve ever had. We also got the opera cakes to go, but I wasn’t too impressed with those.Drinks: the coffee is quite mediocre but the tea selection is absolutely fantastic.
