The food is not that great anymore they used to provide real value. But as prices have increased and they have expanded their quality has slipped more and more. Still a good place for a quick bite but dont expect anything spectacular.

Food was great for me! The prices were good too! I had the enchilada plate and my husband had the seafood caldo. We both cleaned our plates - which is hard for me to do! I can't wait to go back and try more things from their menu!

We ordered a burrito PLAIN just meat, beans, rice and cheese…. When I took it bite it was loaded with purple onions… when we called to tell about the mistake the lady was rude to my husband horrible customer

La Fonda restaurant This is a very simple & casual restaurant serving delicious authentic Mexican food. I always order their shrimp tacos because I think they are the best in Kern County. You order at the counter, but the food is brought to your table. There is a soda fountain to get your own drinks. They also serve beer, but not wine. The staff is always polite. It is family friendly and good for takeout.
