Great job Tanner, and Islands Sherman Oaks. Walk in party of 2 on Saturday. We were sat immediately, attended to efficiently, and followed up with regularly. Great Kilauea burger, pepper crusted, added a fried egg just because, and some sweet potato fries. Friend got Tiki tenders with cheese fries. Everything was perfect. Thank you again Tanner! 🙏

I remember Islands used to be so good! Haven't gone back in over ten years until tonight ..and wow, what a disappointment. These burgers used to be my favorite and it was the worst, most bland, and full of huge raw onion slices, and dry burger ever. Not to mention the fries came totally cold. The only good thing was the service, but the food!- nope, absolutely terrible. Almost $20 per plate too, what a rip-off.
Edit: I was contacted by customer service and mailed a gift card. I revisited the restaurant today and had a much better experience. The burgers were better and they also had a great tortilla soup with free refills. Thanks so much!

I was in a party of 5. Three of the guests were from Dayton, Ohio, and had never eaten at an Islands before. All three of them are very picky eaters. Well, everyone was very satisfied with all of our food selections, including the appetizers. Our two servers, one named Johnathan and a beautiful young lady, (AA)were very friendly, kind, and extremely professional. The atmosphere was great. We set near a window and it very nice. We will definitely take more guests to Islands 🏝 again.

I recently had a hamburger that was simply delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional, with Tristan standing out as a highlight of my visit. He was not only attentive but also seemed to genuinely care about the customers, stepping in to help his team despite being in a managerial role. His dedication made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic meal complemented by outstanding service!

What can I say? The cheeseburgers here are out of the world I love the Malibu with no mustard and mayo. I could eat it every day and make sure you get the fries. Extra well done holy monkey.

This place makes the best burgers, and because of that very often there is a line to get in. We went for a dinner on Friday and had to wait around 25-30 min to be seated, but let me tell you! The wait is totally worth it!

The Sherman Oaks location is the go to place for burgers & fries for my wife & I when we arrive from Arizona on our way to visit grandma.
We spent 15 years living in Pasadena & frequented the Islands on Foothill, but after the move Sherman Oaks has become our haunt.
Not always a yummy burger, but we often split an order of nachos w/ spicy chicken (no beans) & extra guacamole ?. Of course this is while sipping on a Jack & diet or two ? w/ a passion iced tea.
For me if it’s not a burger & fries then it’s fish tacos (either grilled or fried, I enjoy them both). I have been known on occasion to order a Kaanapali Cobb salad, which I get with bleu cheese dressing because, bleu cheese is delicious!
Oh! Cheese fries w/ bacon are really good too.
Parking: Have always found a spot in the parking garage right behind the restaurant. Usually arrive between 4:30 & 5:30 M-Th.
