Super tasty! I love that they don't use any MSG. The pineapple fried rice is super bomb and so is the tom ka. Incredibly flavorful. In van Nuys it can be hard to find quick food that doesn't make you feel like death the next day, and this spot definitely fits the bill for feeling good and also great tasting food. Also, the owners are both really nice and always remember my order and my dog. I've eaten food from other Thai spots close by and definitely felt suspect the next day, so yeah-- shout out to you guys for not poisoning your food with flavor additives and also making amazing dishes. Oh and the pad Thai is bomb as well!! Much love!!!

It's a Friday night and after having a rough week, it was time to order some food and throw on Netflix. I'm feeling like Pad See-Ew and I order from my favourite restaurant - Mint Garden. I'm scanning my Grubhub and it says my food should be delivered in 5 mins - yay! My screen refreshes and it says it's delivered. Huh??! So we run down and look around for our yummy meal but nothing. Huh??! Then I get a call from the owners (Neal and his lovely wife) at Mint Garden - apparently the driver didn't even pick up my food so Neal offered to bring my food even though the restaurant had closed. The food is always amazing but the customer service tonight by Neal and his lovely wife to ensure I didn't go hungry tonight impressed me so much! Will continue to be a loyal customer!

Their food is amazing highly recommend trying them out. They are just a small kitchen so you can't eat in only take to go. Very worth it the owner/chef is a very talented chef and so kind when she took my order. Food was also cooked fast!

Been a customer of Mint Garden for some years now, finally doing a review for this family run gem and a favorite go to spot. Food is always good and the customer service is truly wonderful. I really appreciate that they customize orders to accommodate my vegan requests when possible, or lower sodium or spice levels. Have tried the Red, Green and Yellow Curries, (all good!) Pad Thai, Spicy Eggplant Stir Fry (that they made not spicy, less soy sauce and vegan for me!) Pad See-Ew, (again, customized, so tasty!) Egg Rolls and I really like the Orange Tofu dish, too. That one is definitely on the sweet side, fyi; I like the crispy coating, and when the craving hits, this really hits the spot! Haven't found a vegan orange tofu better than this one. I can even order the Tom Yum soup with veggie broth instead of chicken broth and it is delicious. Portions are generous, too. The owners are so kind and lovely and recently moved from Sherman Oaks to Van Nuys, so not as close to me. Delivery now for my area are third party apps, so I just order directly and pick it up now. I hope their recent move is a good one for them and that they are around for a long time to come! Give them a try if you haven't already.

Haven't ordered here in a while but this place has been one of my go to spots since moving to the valley. A great family run business with delicious food. My old roommate turned me onto this place and I am grateful to her everyday for doing so. Their red curry is absolutely wonderful.
I ordered the orange chicken and fried rice. The rice tasted like it was from the day before, microwaved!! The chicken was also a disappointment. I will never order from here again!!!!fuck microwaves

Me and my husband visited this spot last week. The lady taking the order over the phone was very kind and helpful with questions regarding the food as this was our first visit to Mint Garden. However, upon entering to pick up the food, there was a large fish tank right as you opened the door that was so discolored and dirty you could barely see the jelly fish in the water. I was so disgusted that they would actually allow living beings inside that water. It turned me off so bad that I didn't eat more than half of my food. That's how much of a bad impression this left on me. I would even go so far as saying that this is animal abuse. If they allow every customer to see a disgusting, green, moldy fish tank, I can only imagine what the back/kitchen looks like. I won't be returning.
