I’ve been here a few times now and it’s my new favorite sushi spot. The food is fresh to death with a mix of classic favorites and fun new dishes (the cilantro roll is to die for). Ben has been my waiter twice and I love the banter with him as much as the food. 10/10, chef’s kiss.
There are so many sushi places in Studio City. This is just inside Sherman Oaks by one block, on Riverside, so it's a real neighborhood place. The food is great. Truly homemade. Everything is fantastic. The host, Ben, is stellar. Kind, attentive, and very helpful and knows the cuisine. A great place ... and our secret, okay?
The best sushi in the area. I have been driving by this place for a while. We (4) finally went last night. What a hidden gem, thanks to Carmen. We arrived in time for happy hour 5-7pm. Very extensive happy hour menu, spicy tuna roll, big fish burrito roll, calimari, and $15 big pitcher of beer.
