There are so many sushi places in Studio City. This is just inside Sherman Oaks by one block, on Riverside, so it's a real neighborhood place. The food is great. Truly homemade. Everything is fantastic. The host, Ben, is stellar. Kind, attentive, and very helpful and knows the cuisine. A great place ... and our secret, okay?
The best sushi in the area. I have been driving by this place for a while. We (4) finally went last night. What a hidden gem, thanks to Carmen. We arrived in time for happy hour 5-7pm. Very extensive happy hour menu, spicy tuna roll, big fish burrito roll, calimari, and $15 big pitcher of beer. We also ordered off the main main menu, crunch roll, and california roll with lagustino (big shrimp that tastes like lobster). The experience was made more surprising when the prices...
Took the family to Big Fish Sushi for a Friday night dinner & they did not disappoint! The rolls were delicious & the service was top notch, at a quite reasonable price. The server took the time to see what we ordered & made recommendations based on that. We’re so glad we ordered what the server recommended. A small thing - the hot tea was really tasty too! Can’t wait for our next family dinner :-)
