We celebrated my mom's birthday by doing a surprise breakfast for her. They were able to accommodate our party and plus a few extra last minute add ons. They ade sure our coffee cups were never empty, the food came out to us hot and without mistakes. Everything was yummy! They even sliced the cake with brought. So appreciate their service with a smile!

5 star!!!!The atmosphere reminds me of Restaurants that I’d discover on a road trip in Oregon or California. Very quaint and a modern rustic feel inviting and relaxing. The service is superior. The menu is quite amazing because they offer so many choices. You can have lunch at breakfast or the reverse. Everyone there is always happy. Second breakfast in past 2 weeks and am kicking myself for having waited so long to try this excellent restaurant/cafe. Great attractive menu with all the breakfast options one would expect. Eggs, meats, griddle basics plus and baked goods. Good coffee, strong and plentiful and immediately provided. Cafe was crowded but seating was available. Plenty of good and cheerful help and a real sense of efficiency as all moved easily and effortlessly between patio, several different interior dining areas and the kitchen/distribution area. So professional, such good service and such good food. Portions more than adequate, condiments anticipated and provided, coffee reheated before asking and take home boxes and tote bags provided without waiting. Was a bit on the noisy side but with sounds of a reverse crowd enjoying each others company and all sharing such good food. Colorful and informative menu with clearly labeled vegetarian options.Handicapped parking near entrance and interior spaces for wheelchair quite adequate. Can’t speak to kid-friendly as we didn’t see any. Both visits weekday mornings and no kids. Definitely on our family’s list of outstanding restaurants for good quality food and service. Will post again as experiences provide further insights. Definitely a keeper.

our go to neighborhood brunch place! nothing fancy or trendy by any means, but love that this place is family friendly and has a nostalgic small town vibe. the service is so quick, servers are attentive and sweet, and plenty of space to sit inside or outside in their covered patio. we love the breakfast foods here! i always try to order one of the plates that comes with their homemade biscuits (THE BEST)!

Lovely cafe in Sierra Madre with the best comfort food. The service is friendly and the restaurant seems to be frequented by locals as evidence by the servers being on a first name basis. The cafe ambience like its delicious comfort food is worn yet comfortable. I especially love the chicken and waffle and corn beef hash. So if you're looking for friendly service and delicious comfort food, this is the place to be!

Nano cafe is a neighbor cafe with two locations. The first location was in Monrovia and it is more of a hole in the wall/diner. This second location is newer and is located in Sierra Madre. It's bigger inside and outside. I am glad both locations survived the pandemic. I came to this location to support my neighbor who was performing that Saturday night with his band. We decided to sit outside because it was packed and crowded inside. The restaurant had heater lamps so we didn't feel cold even though it rained earlier that day. Service was EXCELLENT! Our waitress and the manager kept checking on us asking if we needed more drinks, food and or heat. We ordered the following: 1. Fried Calamari 2. Chinese chicken salad and it came with one piece of garlic toast 3. Beef stroganoff 4. Chocolate cake with ice cream 5. Hot tea and lemonade Everything tasted delicious. This restaurant was filled with locals and regulars. It had a homey and a local vibe. I will be returning to try their chicken pot pie. We went inside for some dancing later and had so much fun! I totally recommend it on evenings when they have a live band playing or when you are looking for an easy quiet evening out.
