“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “Yummy 😋 first time ever, in the heart of 2nd Street and I can't believe I've never been here. I havent eaten beef in a decade, unsure but had a taste for it today. 🤩 We shared all the goodness, short rib pizzzzzzza, BBQ scrumptious and so juicy burger, along with the poke tostada, which was piled high with aoli and fresh tartar.

The staff sets this place apart, all are welcoming, inviting and make you feel like your neighbors, including recommendations that melt in your mouth. Had to get a piece of swag memorabilia ie; truckers hat.....so much gratitude. They always say it's not just the food, yet who was a part of the taste test that matters.......highly recommended, scrumptious and delicious 😋“

“We found this place while on vacation in Long Beach and saw they had breakfast so we gave it a try.

The food was excellent. Huge portions. Really homecooked type food, nothing felt frozen. Awesome bacon and one of the best sausage patties I have ever had. The prices were really reasonable for the amount of food.

The service was outstanding. The bartender was really friendly and treated us like we were regulars. Our waitress was amazing and friendly. We enjoyed it so much we went back twice for breakfast and once for beers at night. (Guiness on tap!)“

“This is my third visit to this restaurant chain and my second time at this particular location. The establishment offers a wonderful dining experience with a self-seating arrangement. Enjoy sports on the televisions and pleasant background music. The happy hour menu is exceptional—I drive 20 miles for the Sriracha cheese curds, which pair perfectly with a good beer or vodka lemonade. The bacado (bacon & avocado) burger is truly outstanding. Additionally, the $7 smashburger available on Thursdays (limited time offer) is fresh, flavorful, and superior to fast food alternatives. The restaurant operates smoothly thanks to remarkable teamwork. Tables are turned over quickly, servers are attentive, and there is clear communication between the front and back of house. “Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“Great Ribeye! Slightly crispy on the outside and juicy throughout. Also had their homemade Apple Cider Sorbet which was so delicious!We sat in the booths so it was a very classy, cozy atmosphere. Great for taking the parents or in-laws out for a special occasion or just for a nice piece of steak.“

“I performed a Blues concert there this week in their large music hall & library with bar which adjoins a very busy bar room playing old school
recorded R&B. It's a lively and fun place to hang. There's cocktails, beer, music and pool tables. A diverse friendly crowd. They let you Postmate or bring food. There's even an outdoor patio.“

“The highlight though, and is just my opinion is the staff let me take a few balls as souvenirs and been using them at my office for ping pong. Score!I'll probably be back just for drinks and light bites, but don't really envision renting out another table for ping pong. I'll stick to free ping pong at the office. =)“

“I was here for a birthday party, due to this event all of the staff was assigned to this event from 5:00 pm to 7:30 dinner and the bar services wasn't being offered . Once services were back in full swing, the margaritas were margarotahs terrible . Hosting a party and while being open as a full bar was too much for them to handle, they can only do one or the other.“

“Been to this bar since it was Ferns then the Bird and now the hideout, I love how it looks now when it was Ferns it was smelly dirty they didn't keep up with the bar or restrooms seemed like homeless ppl were there all the time, they've changed it so much it seems bigger spacious smells clean it's organized well attented enjoy the DJ very much there's a good space to dance and hang out, alcohol prices are good they even have happy hour well worth it. They don't sell food, but there are many spots in the area to grab a bite.“

“Loved this hotel. Staff were courtesy, always helpful and the hotel (both in and outside) were being cleaned nonstop. The only downfall of this stay were the rude guests who were there and the nonstop partying they were having at the pool. My recommendation to the hotel: shift the pool hours from 10-10pm to 9am - 9pm. Quiet hours are supposed to start at 9pm, but when you have a pool open until 10pm, you invited unruly guests to stay there until 10pm. Staff tried to quiet them down, but to no avail. Again, not the fault of the hotel for having rude guests, but there is a solutions to prevent this from happening again. Future guests - do NOT stay at a ground level room next to the pool if are an early go to bed type of have young kids whose bedtime is at 730pm (like mine are). I recommend staying far away from the pool as possible just in case you have the same rude crowd I did during Labor Day weekend. I still give this hotel five stars though!!“

The security staff 1 in particular really nice guy helpful, and accommodating I was not planning to go to a dance place so I had some stuff that was not allowed in he told us he would take care of our stuff and he did at the end of the night he returned them, nice person.
