“Lakewood Rocks Sports Bar is a very nice. Great live bands, friendly bartenders, clean, dance floor, nice decore and set up well. It may look small from the outside but step in and you will find it's much larger. Sue the owner is a very friendly person and takes pride in what she does. Myself as a woman feels safe there. Nice friendly clientele. The door manager is a great guy. Step into Lakewood Rocks Sportsbar and enjoy a good time!“

“Great place, with friendly service and a great ambiance, if you like these loud sports bars. We all liked our food - it was "good" (OK would sound as if any of us had been unhappy) - good burgers and fries. Unless I would be asked by someone to join particularly there, I doubt I would go again. It's not a "No" to the restaurant itself, it is a "Yes" to all the other great places on the same street I have not explored yet. So again, if you want to check out games and have a great night out with like-minded, this is highly recommended.“

“I had wonderful time there at Shannon’s On Pine. Everyone who works there are very friendly and service excellent. I was there for a special event with KLBP and The Long Beach Blues Society. All the musicians who played outside in the outdoor eating area were there for The International Day of Music . I want to thank Shannon’s On Pine for staging this event with our 501(c) California Charity The Long Beach Blues Society. Great food,excellent beverages, and fun atmosphere. “Really good deli. My wife and I had a couple of pastrami sandwiches. I had mine cold and hers was made hot. They were both excellent. We had a couple of blonde beers at $3 each and were really good also. You order at the counter and they bring everything to you which happened very quickly. You can grab some pickles which are off to the side if wanted. The restaurant was really clean and I noticed they clean the tables really quickly once vacated. Everyone very friendly.“

“Love coming here, with friends, after a long day of classes. I really like how they always have different unique and interesting beers always cycling through on tap. The staff can sometimes not be the most service friendly but that's not a huge deal, it's usually pretty busy. I wish happy hour specials were daily! Not just two days a week, I mean doesn't make much sense. Will be here a lot next semester with my classes.“

“My girlfriend wanted to do karaoke for her birthday. This place was recommended that was local. So glad we came. The dj was great. We order carna asada pizza though it was a little off. But It was delicious. So we had to try other ones my next favorite was the chicken Bacon ranch, new favorite. Shrimp and calamari was so good. After all that food, we couldn't stop dancing. Like I said the dj was great. We different recommend this place, can't wait to go back. the service was so good it makes you feel like you're family. “We were visiting in Long Beach from Colorado because we had to dog sit our grandog for 2 weeks. We love coffee and our Broncos. That weekend they were playing the Bills. We stumbled upon Altar Society and watched the second half of the game there. When we walked in wearing our Broncos gear there was another local young couple there wearing theirs. They immediately clapped as we walked in so we sat next to the table next to theirs to have appetizers and a dessert. It was a fun game to watch with other fans. The food was good. The next morning, we walked over there to check out their Coffee since we noticed that they also offer coffee and muffins. What a unique concept. We need an Altar Society near us in Colorado. GO Broncos!“

“We (a trio of ladies) chose this Applebee’s for a little reunion dinner after a movie night, and we’re so glad we ended up here! It was one of the few places still open around 9 PM, and it turned out to be the perfect spot.

We were greeted by Gerardo, who set the tone for the night with his kindness and professionalism. He gave us plenty of time to look through the menu and even pointed out the best deals without ever making us feel rushed. Despite his device acting up, he handled everything quickly and smoothly. Throughout the evening, he checked in on us at just the right moments to make sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and enjoyed a relaxed, fun reunion dinner. We’ll definitely be returning soon! Please give a big thank-you to Gerardo for making our visit so easy, enjoyable, and for sharing a laugh with us when he heard our wild stories as he walked by!! “Love it! Happy hour house cocktails we're good and even after happy hour was over drink prices are very reasonable. The crowd was awesome the bartenders were super nice and fun. The karaoke guy and girl were superb at what they do. I learned they do karaoke 7 days a week. Yeah, I'll be there every Saturday for sure! ?“
