So our journey begins with a hot day. A few degrees cooler than the SF valley, but still pretty hot. As we venture through quite a bit, we were looking for a place to cool-off. The first suggestion in the car was ICE CREAM!!!! The vote was unanimous. This presented a few decisions to be made. We can go to the valley, and enjoy Cold Stone or settle for something else. Clearly it was too far. So our next decision was to find one here in Simi Valley. At this point we find ourselves...

This location has a very pleasant seating area outside. The mall itself has many water features and a few eateries along with a Vons market. My best advice if you come on a very busy day..... order online. Sometimes the line is long and does not move very quickly especially during hot months. We usually order the same items. My diabetic husband is pleased they offer a sugar free option called vanilla light ice cream. I always go for the banana chocolate shake. Service is great...

Me and my family love Cold Stone ice cream!This place is neat and clean. There are tables and chairs outside too in a garden like setting to just relax alone or with family and friends.
