Taylor help my toddler son and I with our order and she really made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Our California burritos, rodeo tacos, and fries were delicious. My son can be a picky eater but he loves Makenna’s beef brisket and eats it every time!

Love Makenna. Been a fan ever since it first opened in Simi. I do wish the food tasted a little better- the burritos are hot and cold in certain places and don’t taste as great as other options, but the coffee is delicious and service is always friendly. We were helped by the cashier Caden and wanted to shout him out for being a kind and helpful person! Thanks guys.

Double Smash burger is very good! I really wanted to like the brisket taco and had it been hot I probably would have but it was served cold the first time and barely warm after sending it back. Lots of very young staff...the restaurant itself has a cafeteria feel to it but it is bright and airy with lots of natural sunlight. I will go back but probably just for the smash burgers to go!

I ordered each of the surf tacos. They are expensive, like $5 for a taco. The tortillas are bad, not fresh, not handmade. The mahi mahi is dry! The cabbage they included is really bad too. Soggy and old, bland flavor. The fillings were just dumped on the cold tortilla and then wrapped in aluminum foil like a burrito. I would not come here to order tacos.
Just had a McKenna Smash Burger and fries. I really enjoyed the smash burger. It had the flavor I was looking for, and the sause was good. Unfortunately, fries were terrible. They were dark, oily and limp. I couldn't eat them, they were exceptionally bad.

Double smash burger!!!! OMG that was amazingly good. BUT FRENCH FRIES has serious problem. If you read all the comments you will understand they are the problem. Change is required immediately i think. (Super oily, looks like blind grandma fries forgot in the oil for couple hours, i poured tons of mustard and ketchup to hardly eat them becauss i was suppoerrrb hungry)
