This place is fantastic, the workers are super welcoming and friendly like if we know each other. They really help in any possible way. They don't rush you to order, they answer all questions asked, and never in a bad mood. They are just beyond nice workers. 1st time I stopped by this place was a week ago while going back home from Fillmore and after working all day the best thing to treat your body is with a nice cup of coffee. As they have a wide variety of options I didn't know which one to go for, I just wanted something different from most places, and this place has plenty of options, anyway I think I got the blended nutty irishman, it was absolutely delicious, personally I really loved it, as I was driving around the corner and there is not Makena in Huntington Park I decided to turn around I get a 2nd coffee cause I didn't know when I would be back to work in the area, and my 2nd coffee was as great as the 1st coffee. And today Nov-12, I decided to go for another one, same great service and great coffee, I got the Santa's cookies, absolutely delicious and the girl who took care of my order, she is extremely helpful and friendly , while I was trying to choose which drink to get she didn't even rush me or didn't even get upset, because I didn't know what to order , I just didn't ask her name but she is super friendly, thanks I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone which is perfect for kids as well. Plus they have food, tacos, burritos, burgers and soft serve for extra dessert. I was lucky today, I got a free meal card, thank you so much again. Personally I really liked this coffee, so flavorful and very good prices.

I used to really like this place, but I’ve become very frustrated with this Makenna location. I feel like the owners have pulled a bait and switch, you used to be able to get a wide selection of drink rewards and recently they limited the size and type of drink you can get and the staff can’t even tell me what I can get with the multiple rewards I now have, not being able to use them. People spend a lot of money on coffee drinks and this comes as ungrateful to their customer base.

OMG what a hidden gem! The absolute best smash burger in Simi Valley! The whole entire staff made this first visit incredible and memorable. Taylor, Gino, Zoe were incredibly helpful, friendly and full of joy! So were the amazing chefs Max and Luis! This place is a must for anyone looking for a Smash Burger. The fries are made with beef tallow and are insanely good. The chiller, which is like a milkshake, was mind blowing. I am happy I found this wonderful place. They’ve got a lifelong customer in me! I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.

Love Makenna. Been a fan ever since it first opened in Simi. I do wish the food tasted a little better- the burritos are hot and cold in certain places and don’t taste as great as other options, but the coffee is delicious and service is always friendly. We were helped by the cashier Caden and wanted to shout him out for being a kind and helpful person! Thanks guys.
Double Smash burger is very good! I really wanted to like the brisket taco and had it been hot I probably would have but it was served cold the first time and barely warm after sending it back. Lots of very young staff...the restaurant itself has a cafeteria feel to it but it is bright and airy with lots of natural sunlight. I will go back but probably just for the smash burgers to go!

I ordered each of the surf tacos. They are expensive, like $5 for a taco. The tortillas are bad, not fresh, not handmade. The mahi mahi is dry! The cabbage they included is really bad too. Soggy and old, bland flavor. The fillings were just dumped on the cold tortilla and then wrapped in aluminum foil like a burrito. I would not come here to order tacos.
