They have some of the best soups(french onion), salads(asian sesame), and sandwiches(napa almond chicken salad), and not to mention they have baked goods that are too die for. So yummy in my tummy!

Great Bagels. Sandwiches and Drinks. Great place to chill for an hour or
Went today 2 half sandwiches and a cup of soup and one bowl of soup and the bill was over $29. What a joke. There chicken salad is not chicken salad. It's bread with a lot of lettuce and tomato and a few pieces of chicken. This is not chicken salad. What a joke. They need to lower there prices. I will never go back to Panera.

No service. Stood at the register to order for 5 minutes while the staff looked at me. Asked them if someone could help me and they said to give them a few minutes. Nah. I’ll get my soup somewhere else.

The food always turns out good though they can get backed up sometimes and it takes a bit longer for the food to come out. The service is always great and friendly though and offer compensations for inconveniences.

Not only did they make me wait 20 mins for my order, they gave me a sandwich instead of a salad. Then when I went back and asked for the salad, it was an itty bitty plain salad for over $8 and I asked for chicken and they didn’t even put it on there.
12/5/23 - UpdateStill no return calls... They refuse to speak to me to address the issues of poor food quality and total lack of customer service... Again, the management of the Simi Valley store should be fired and the owner of the store or Panera Corporate should be ashamed of themselves for letting this store operate with it's current management team in place...

This Panera bread makes a huge argument for food service unions. Multiple times the way I have seen the employees being treated makes me really upset. The last time I was in this particular location in Simi Valley the girl, taking my order seemed very upset and very distracted. I noticed she was wearing a glove on her hand, and asked if she was OK. She said she needed to go to the emergency room but her manager wasn't letting her leave until the line had been covered. I was stunned. That was not the only time I have seen the employees there being treated less than good. I have tried a couple of times since to just do rapid order pick up thinking it might make it easier on the employees and it is always turned off at this location especially times of the year where you would want to do pick up orders .A couple of times as well, they had got my order wrong and when I came back in and said "hey, this is a problem I can't eat bacon it has bacon on it." The manager gave me a bad attitude and was acting like I was just there for free food and not saying "hey, I can't eat this ." She's about 5.9" and dyes her hair red.If I could give this establishment a zero or less than zero for their customer service and terrible attitudes I would and it's not even the people that are lower on the totem pole. It is whoever is managing that kitchen like a workhouse. Every other Panera bread that I walk into the employees seem happy and like they like their jobs or at least have that front facing attitude, every time I walk into this particular Panera bread the workers always pissed and done with it and it always has a now hiring sign, and they've had to change their hours several times for having a lack of staff. I don't know how you run a chain this badly, but it seems like a very common occurrence in Simi Valley. Do not judge the rest of Panera bread on how bad this particular store is.

The food was tasty. Employees were very nice, although the food took quite a while to make. One thing I did find quite annoying is they do not have any sugar free options for their coffees. My husband is diabetic and would have loved to get the vanilla cold brew but was unable. Since Panera is so "health conscious" I'm surprised there are no sugar free options.
