Saw Abby Road, the Beatles cover band. So fun! They're really good, would recommend to anyone. Advice to Belly Up guests, get there a bit early so you can grab a good seat. They sell out, and those not getting there early will be standing.

Box Office person was polite. The sound system was great. The drinks were reasonably priced. Bartenders were impatient and NOT friendly. The SECURITY staff was RUDE (I watched the neurotic guy at the front of the stage harass the nice ladies when they even remotely touched the "baracade tape"- making everyone paranoid like they're being surveillanced for existing)... and the way they packed us in there like sardines was NOT cool. I left early - as there was no movement and the feelings of claustrophobia were further enhanced by the security staff's consistent harassment. ... It's obvious, the BellyUp Venue- is in business to make money, versus providing an excellent experience.

Absolute best sound I've ever experienced in San Diego. Nova, and every other venue downtown should really be taking notes. This place does it right! I can't wait to attend another show here. I'm drawn in to see people I'm not even crazy about just to get that amazing audio experience -- It's an audiogasm.

I've lived in So Cal for 25 years and this was first time at the venue!?!?! Seriously disappointed in myself!!! The venue, atmosphere and concert were all excellent. Please accept my apologies for ignoring the numerous recommendations to attend the Belly Up Tavern. I WILL BE BACK!!!
