Got in late into Solvang and they were 20 minutes from closing time. But the restaurant was busy and they were welcoming . We ordered Wiener schnitzel and the roast pot with prunes. The food was divine. Cooked with care and to perfection. The red cabbage and the sausage was excellent. I highly recommend this place. Definitely a do over!
A nice surprise. Among various restaurants in town, we randomly picked one, and we were in for a good treat. The place is spacious, service was great, and the food was awesome. I've had Danish food before in Copenhaghen, and this place definitely elevate it to another level. The flavor is innovative. Will definitely be back when in town.
This Danish restaurant is known for their lamb and roast duck... Which is excellent but when I am dining alone or with a date.. I order the Hakkebof Med Log with an extra fried egg and a side of pumpernickel bread... They do not have Danish rye bread but their pumpernickel is a great substitute.. they give you a choice of boiled, mashed or roasted potatoes.. if you order the pumpernickel bread choose the roasted potatoes.....COMFORT FOOD!!!!
