My wife and I came here and had our first time tasting at this location and our experience was incredible. The knowledge that our host Tony had was awesome and fun and the wines are great I would highly recommend visiting this wine tasting room

Tried to reach out ask questions. They didn't even reply the text messages smh. Next time you should take customers serious. It takes a second to reply the message . What a lame

I hardly leave Yelp reviews but I felt this tasting room deserved it. We came across Dana V. Wines on a busy Saturday afternoon during Thanksgiving weekend. I was attracted to the outdoor seating, live music and the cute decor inside. We've never been there before but being a regular visitor to the area over the years, I've heard positive reviews about their wines. We immediately were greeted by one of the associates, Teresa, and were seated at a table outside. They were very accommodating to us, as we had our two year old English Cream Retreiver tagging along. She provided us a wine list, water for us and our pup (along with a few treats for him). We spent almost two hours there, enjoying the music, people watching and being able to relax. We bought two bottles. The 2020 BDX Rouge which is from Happy Canyon and a 2020 Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills (both my favorites). I've worked in the food and customer service industry and was very pleased with the hospitality that Dana V. provided. They were attentive, friendly and very informative. I also appreciated the dog friendly atmosphere and how kind and loving they were to him. We had the opportunity to meet the winemaker as well. She was very welcoming, kind and of course, loved our dog. I highly recommend if you're walking the streets of Solvang to stop and give them a try. It's one of the best locations to visit in town. Can't wait to come back in a few weeks.

Lovely place with great outdoor seating. What really made this place amazing was Tony Vallejo! He was super informative, knowledgeable, friendly, and more than happy to give recommendations. The wines were also tasty. I did the wine flight and did not regret it!

A nice smaller volume winery. The host was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about their wines. Dana V offers a choice of tastings: a mix, all white or all red. Their Pinot Noir was fine, but their Syrah was excellent. Of course that is all subjective. Their typical pricing per bottle is higher than most of the other local wineries.

This looks place has really tough customer service. Ended up here and our friends revealed they were pregnant which erupted into us getting kicked out despite us having a drink. We were completely sober and asked to leave without any kind of understanding of the situation.

Came in here with some friends to do a tasting and within a matter of minutes, we were asked to leave for being "too loud." For the record, there was not a single other person inside at the time, only a few people out front on the patio. I had not even had a drop of alcohol, so obviously this was not a situation where we were too drunk. A note of importance is that we were a group of all minorities, so the racism was both overt and shameless. Really gross and upsetting experience, avoid this place at all costs.

I wish I could give this awful place a 0 star. My wife and I come here multiple times and never had an issue until this time. We came here with friends to announce them to that my wife was pregnant and apparently the excitement was too much for the people working here and as our friends were congratulating my wife and I we were very rudely told to leave as we were being "too loud". I could not believe how rude the staff were and they should be ashamed for allowing this to happen. What should have been a very happy moment amongst friends to celebrate my wife being pregnant was RUINED by this awful establishment. This place is awful and don't spend your moment here. Shame on everyone working here
A group of friends came here to taste wine. As we were waiting for our wine to arrive, we were notified we were being "kicked out" due to being too loud. There was 6 of us and we were celebrating the news that we just found out of our friends being pregnant. Dana v wines did not care when we gave our explanation. It truly hurt our feelings as we were in the moment of celebrating something special. Shame on Dana v wines!

The server Tony was very nice as he was very knowledgeable of the various wines. We opted for wine tasting opposed to buying a bottle. The pour was very very " chen-ze". It was not enough for even two tastings/sips How very disappointing and unfulfilling. A normal wine serving is 5oz, wine tasting at minimum should be 2.5 ounces. We did not get anything near that. Having paid $25 per person..They need to at least pour enough to taste and enjoy it. Not pleased at all....

Love! Love! Love! This place... Did wine tasting and a charcuterie... Steven is a fabulous server, he knows his wine and so easy to talk to . Had a great time

Wines were incredible. The white wine flight finished with the most decadent dessert wine Zach was clearly passionate about his work and described the wine with fun descriptors accurate flavor profiles.
