I would come back again because the people are friendly. Food is good and seems like a bit of a hidden gem to grab a glass of wine and chill.

Food was good and was served quickly. The atmosphere was great with an outdoor dining setting. They use frozen pizza and bake it

The service was excruciatingly slow (picture a 45min+ wait time after you're seated for two sandwiches). This is (probably) on account of understaffing and overworked employees; doesn't quite sound like the kind of a place you'd want to give your business to.But then that aside, it wasn't like the food was worth the wait. We got two cold sandwiches with flavor at par with what cafes you find on college campuses offer. Food served was cold and looked like it was cooked in time but waited a while on the counter before it got served. It low key ruined our vibe that day.

Had a chance to swing by Silk Road's Kitchen when my family and I were visiting Solvang. We originally were going to go to Whiskey N Rye because the restaurant looked 75% empty yet they told us it was fully booked for some reason... Regardless we're happy that was the result because Silk Road's Kitchen was delicious. We were seated in their outdoor area and the entrees were made to perfection. Definitely one of the top gyro wraps that I've had! If you're in the area definitely stop by and check it out.

My family, some friends and I were looking for somewhere to eat after being told another very close restaurant would have an over hour wait time, despite being pretty empty. We opted for this place as we like Mediterranean food. So glad we did. The place had outdoor seating with some covered areas. We love the fire pit that was built into the table to keep you warm. The owner was very nice and accommodated our group. The food was wonderful. We tried the shawarma platter, wraps and salads. Everything was fresh and made to order. Will definitely come by again when we are back in Solvang. Thank you for making what was becoming a bad evening great!

Silk Road is tucked away in a corner location which is hard to find, but worth the effort to seek out their excellent Mediterranean cuisine. There is only outdoor seating. Patio heaters are available when the weather is cool. Free parking is nearby. Service was excellent and very friendly. Their Mezze (Appetizers) are a small meal in themselves. We enjoyed the Hummus, Falafel and Greek Fries - all were excellent. We also enjoyed a Gyro Wrap, which contained a generous portion of thinly sliced Gyro meat (Halal) and the usual fillings.

This is a lovely spot to retreat from the bustling streets of Solvang for a bite to eat. The space was clean and inviting and the food was good overall. However, the chicken in the shawarma wrap both appeared and tasted like it was lightly marinated with curry seasoning, lacking the exuberant flavor you would typically find in chicken shawarma. Would recommend one of their other wraps or any of the sandwiches.

Horrible horrible place the owner was super rude and disrespectful since the start he looks very angry to even service you. The food tastes like frozen microwave box food. Super dirty and untidy never coming back here again. Take your business else where if you want to enjoy some good food. What a HORRIBLE place!

A little hidden restaurant. There is not a lot of indoor seating, and the majority is outdoors. A couple of tables have a table fiire pit. The rest are covered by a standing heater. Very nice ambiance overall. The food is good. Gyro wrap was good but nothing extraordinary.

I dined here with my family around 6:30 pm, and I won't be returning for the dinner menu. They only serve pizza after 4 pm, and the pizzas were disappointingly small, mediocre, and not worth the price. Moreover, the staff was slow; they took our orders 15 minutes after we were seated and delivered our food at least 20-30 minutes after placing the order. This delay might be due to the pizza oven only accommodating a limited number of pizzas. I wouldn't recommend it for dinner, though I can't speak for the Mediterranean lunch menu.
