Loved visiting this place in person and bought myself a mulling spice pack. Ran out and so I called to see how long it takes to ship to southern california and was met with the rudest employee on the line. Didnt complete my second purchase. It's the holidays and didn't want to support a GRINCH

I have enjoyed two great experiences with Solvang Spice Merchant. First was during a local visit and we picked up some amazing fish seasoning. My second was after we arrived back in Pennsylvania, I placed an online order for some Teas for a birthday present. They arrived perfectly packed and wonderful. Thank you

When we visited this place I was very impressed. The spices here are top quality. They are so good that I ordered a giant box full of spices from this place when I returned back to my town in San Diego, california. What does spices are very tasty, smell good, and are high quality. I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about making very flavorful food.

Walked in while visiting Solvang in the summer while home. The woman working there who I believe is the owner was very kind and nice to talk to. I ended up getting a product called “the Perfect Pickle” for a DYI spicy dill!

i travel 2 hours for their tea! every time i roll through solvang i feel the need to stop by and buy a tin of their ginger peach tea; high quality and amazing flavor.

Greatest place for a large variety of spices. Friendly staff. The prices are medium range, definitely worth the expense

today was my first time visiting Solvang and the spice market, the shop was beautifully organized and filled to the brim with spices and teas. I could’ve spent hours there, but i decided on a few spices. I left and noticed a small issue with a discrepancy on the pricing. I returned and the store associate was super kind and helped me with no hesitation. I can’t wait to visit again, but i also think i might place an online order in the meantime!

I stumbled across this spot while walking around Solvang and thought it was pretty interesting! They have a wide variety of spices from around the world, which would be great if you're into cooking or just curious about trying new flavors.

They also sell sourdough bread mixes in different flavors — something I haven't seen before. Definitely a fun little find if you're looking to bring a little taste of Solvang home with you.
