Long over due Review:

We have been here 3 times over the years and Jazmine was our server each time.
She provides amazing service, has a warm smile and bartends too.
We got a full rack of ribs which is huge ( half shown in picture ) , brisket, fried pickles and skillet cookie.
All the food was delicious especially the ribs.
For cocktails we got the country lemonade which is my favorite and a penicillin.
They have a huge whiskey list and if you buy a doulbe the 2nd shot is half off !

Highly recommend this restaurant and I'll be back each time I visit Solvang.

Excellent food and good portion sizes. Garlic bread is fantastic, cornbread is not.

Wow. This place was absolutely delicious. Even though it was busy, the two of us were sat immediately without a reservation. The food was amazing, filling, and cooked perfectly. Would love to go again.

After checking restaurants for lunch we found this gem of a restaurant nestled at the end of the road. It is gourgeous, upscale, trendy. Matthew the maitre'd won us over. He was exceptional. We had a very friendly warm welcoming reception by him. Matthew gave us his full attention and answered all our questions. He was really genuine in having us as guests. He was very attentive in checking on us during our meal. The menu had several dishes that we liked. Our server was great, very patient and pleasant. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor dining is surrounded by plants and shrubs, a garden setting. We chose outdoor seating due to the ideal patio weather. The ambience was warm, relaxing and comfortable. Our sandwiches were delicious. It was a wonderful experience over all. We will surely return.

The food was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were friendly and attentive. We didn’t make a reservation, so we had to wait about an hour, but overall it was a nice experience.

My daughter ordered the steak well done and we expected to be somewhat dry as it usually is but to our surprise it was still so juicy and tender. We tried a piece and it was the the steak we've tasted. Thank you 😊

As you walk in, the delicious smells hit you first, followed by the greetings from such friendly staff. We wanted to watch football and have a snack. Sat at the bar with several big screens, got there at 12:57 (brunch ends at 13:00), and had a bloody Mary and Kentucky coffee (peanut butter whiskey and banana liqueur in coffee). We shared the tasty Cobb Salad with bacon and tender filet minon on half (I'm vegetarian), green goddess dressing, and to die for jalapeño Cast Iron Cornbread with whipped honey butter. Friendly staff, delicious food, comfy and cozy. Highly recommended.

Food was good and portion sizes were decent sizes. A little on the expensive side. Brisket flavor was good, but not as smoky as I prefer (notice lack of smoke ring). Mac & cheese side was very good. Wife got the brisket chili that she really liked.

The kids loved this place, which honestly says a lot. The food was good and came out hot, and overall the vibe was family-friendly. That said, our waitress was a bit short and not very warm, which took away from the experience.
The biggest issue for me, though, was the dog situation. I understand that this is a dog-friendly area and I’m generally fine with dogs being present. What I don’t understand is allowing dogs to sit on the chairs. At that point, I’m eating at the same level as dogs, and that feels like a basic health concern. On top of that, my child is severely allergic to dogs, which made the situation stressful and uncomfortable.
I really don’t get how that aligns with health and safety standards, especially in a restaurant that clearly welcomes families and kids.
Overall: good food and a spot kids enjoy, but service could be friendlier and the dog-on-chairs policy seriously needs to be reconsidered.

Beef tips were tough and chewy, brisket was overcooked, dry and served at almost room temperature. Tasted like it was roasted, not smoked. Bbq beans are good as well as bbq burger. I suppose if you wsnt good brisket, go to Texas.
