I would give it 5 stars if the prices were more reasonable. Delicious brisket fries and jalapeno cornbread. We sat inside but they have nice outdoor seating with a mister.

Very mediocre food. 4 meals and 1 was good. When we were given our menus at 5:30, we should have been told the brisket was gone. The filet bites were good but came with garlic bread which was maybe store bought, the butter wasn't melted on the bread. Disappointing for $34. The loaded Mac and cheese with pulled pork was not good. Mac and cheese was dry, not sure why it was considered loaded. Two of us ordered the brisket chili and it was very bland, a little spice and the brisket was mostly fat! Yuck! The cornbread was tasteless and the honey butter had a strange taste. The seasoned fries were very good. Overall a poor meal for a lot of money!

Such a great spot for food and drinks. This place is family friendly and has AMAZING food plus great spirits. Don't miss the fried pickles and brisket! We ordered the ribeye which is hand carved and it was crazy good. All the apps are worth ordering, you could make a meal out of just the great appetizer selection. Make a reservation, you won't regret it!

After an afternoon of wine tasting, we were quite hungry. We came here and had such an amazing meal! The server recommended the brisket dirty fries, and that was a highlight of the meal, wow! I still dream about that dish. The loaded mac and cheese was great also, and for dessert we got the cheesecake which was fantastic. Love the casual and fun vibes, service was great, prices were terrific, would definitely come back here!

Went on a small vacation with my family, the food was pretty good, not many restraunts are open past 6 or 7pm, but Whiskey 'N Rye was one of them. The wait was estimated at 40 minuets, but we sat within 20. I ordered the beast burger with a bunch of different types of meat making the patty, it was unique, but I've had better $20 burgers. The sides and appetizers were all very good.

This place was excellent BUT their website implies you need a reservation. So we booked the latest we could get which was 2:45 thru the service but when we got there the place was empty. It turns out you DO NOT NEED a reservation. I can only imagine the business they loose. We almost ate somewhere else. I dont like having my dinner that early.

After a not so friendly experience with thr bartender, I asked to speak with the manager. The manager apologized on behalf of the bartender, seated me, and paid for a scrumptious carrot cake. Having said that, the chicken was dry. I don't know about the other meats, sometimes barbecue places tend to over cook. The servers were friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant enough. I would try the place again if I was traveling in the area.

Delicious bbq in Solvang just a 3 minute walk from the Landsby Hotel (great place to stay). We ordered the filet mignon tips with mini toasted bread (shared for 2) followed by the grilled romaine lettuce salad plus brisket. That was plenty of delicious bbq without going overboard. The price of our meal plus a peachy old fashion and a Mexican coke was reasonable (under $100). The ambiance was nice and it was the perfect summer weather for sitting outside sitting. Customer service was excellent and our waitress was super attentive always checking up on us. Highly recommend for great foods and delicious bbq.

Celebrated my birthday at Whisky 'N Rye and the ribs did not disappoint. My wife had the salmon which was fantastic. Highly recommend dining at Whiskey 'N Rye!
Our meal was fabulous!! Cornbread is a must! We shared the meat sampler platter and all the meat was Smokey, moist and delish! The garlic potatoes and coke slaw were great side options as well. Our server was a delight!! We would definitely come here again.

Good food, good drinks! Server (forgot her name) was helpful with drink recommendations and was kind enough to allow our group to split the bill individually. Seems to get busy on the weekends, especially if there's a show at the nearby theater -- the earliest reservations I could get was about 2.5 hours before our show, so be sure to make reservations.

The fried pickles were delicious and honestly the best hamburger I've ever eaten. For dessert, we had the sweet potato cheesecake which was yummy. We liked it so much that we came back the next night. The brisket was delicious and loved their unique potatoes.
