“Had a wonderful opportunity to visit Gwinllan Estate and taste the wines including the sparkling wine. The owners & winemaker were very pleasant. The Blanc de Noir was absolutely dreamy and the Vermentino was so velvety on the palate. The Luminous was also such a treat. Grabbed all 3 to go after tasting. Looking forward to the Vermentino for Thanksgiving and the Blanc de Noir to celebrate hubby's bday in October. Luminous is a gift for a friend. I highly recommend this place especially if you're planning a wedding. The sparkling wine is especially perfect for such an event. “Best wine tasting experience we have had in a very long time! We were greeted by two friendly beautiful family dogs. We met Marcos the owner's son and had a very wonderful conversation. The we went to the tasting room and we were treated with a very warm friendly smile from the daughter. She did an excellent job of explaining the different flight options. We sat down and began are tasting experience. The flight's were amazing between the whites and the reds, best varieties and flavors within the flight. The daughter timed it perfect and we never had to wait for our next tasting. She did an excellent job explaining the different wines and where they came from. In between pours provided great conversation and warm smiles. We then went over to the gazebo overlooking the area and enjoyed the best fire cooked pizza! The owner came over and talked to us and introduced us to his lovely wife. We enjoyed a great conversation. The owner share his hear and vision for the winery. He asked if we were taken care of and needed anything. Over all it was such a pleasant experience at a value you can't find anywhere else. The pricing options were excellent and the varieties we're out of this world! Let's just say there is a little piece of Italy in Somerset! Perfect ambiance and beautiful hosts! We definitely will be coming back and if you need to get away from it all and get a great value for your money..THIS IS THE GO TO! Thank you Mastroserio Winery, two thumbs up and 10 stars! “Lots of great Mexican restaurants around but if you want a nice sit down and chat atmosphere then this is the place in Diamond Springs. We've been here several times and we're new to the area. Never been disappointed.
Update: Usually have the chimichanga and love it, tried the super nachos and am happy to have another tasty dish on my list. Next time, bacon avocado burger.“

“This place is so wonderful. Their food is amazing, especially the baked mussels. I bring kids and their patio is perfect for a family situation. They pepper the kids with little treats and are so kind and patient with families. But they also offer a very serene setting inside. We will support this restaurant forever. “I stopped for lunch today and my burrito was promptly served, and was one of the best tasting that I've had in awhile. I also appreciated that the salsa was super fresh, and I noticed that the whole restaurant was very clean. I'll be sure to remember this place, when I'm working in the area.“

“PROS: Food was fantastic! We had the chili dog and prime rib sandwich. Onion rings were on point and even my picky eaters couldn't get enough of the potato salad.
CONS: It took 20 minutes to get our order taken after sitting down and another almost hour to get our order. The staff was very nice but if you aren't prepared for an hour and a half plus dining experience this is not the stop to go.
OVERALL: The historical factor with the quality of taste of food makes this a worth while stop on your high country adventure.“

“We had an amazing experience at Golden Dragon! The food was absolutely delicious — the Mongolian beef was excellent, the honey walnut shrimp was fabulous, and the garlic string beans (which I normally don’t even like) were a hit with everyone else. The orange chicken was great, the veggie chow fun was awesome, and the egg drop soup was to die for. Highly recommend this place — everything we tried was full of flavor and cooked perfectly!“

“With a friend in town visiting, my husband, friend, and I made our way to Vino Noceto upon the recommendation from another winery we had tasted at.

The wines are of the Italian varietal, and several of them were new to us. We enjoyed the space and how pleasant the servers were. They took the time to educate us on the wines, but in a laid-back manner that was not pretentious or presumptuous.

They have ample outdoor seating with plenty of shade and umbrellas. There is plenty of parking and they are dog friendly.“

“This winery is one of the best! We visited for a wine tasting and the gentleman was so informative about the wines and how they are harvested, we couldn’t get enough of his knowledge! The wines, all six, that we selected on our own were excellent! We will probably join the club when we get home! Also, there is a picnic area that you can purchase a charcuterie board or cheese and crackers, spreads and dips to sit down and enjoy with your bottle of wine! It’s fantastic!“

“This place continues to go downhill in my opinion. We have been going there for years. But the last year we have stopped going much at all because the service is very hit and miss. A few good servers here and there. The food had also started to be not as good. We decided to try it again and for me this is probably the last time. The serving size for the price is pitiful. Especially the ridiculously small kids pizza for $12. It was burnt on the bottom besides. The garden sandwich sounded very good but was pitiful and served on a dry bun. The service was adequate but not friendly. Just disappointing again. This used to be one of my favorite places.“

“The last visit was the end of 21. We decided to try again, and am I glad we did! Friendly lady answered the phone, took my to go order. We ordered egg rolls(which were really spring rolls), pot stickers that were stuffed full and very delicious, bbq pork chow mein(noodles were more like chow fun), honey walnut prawns that were absolutely delicious, sweet and sour pork absolutely delicious, and chicken with string beans which was absolutely amazing! I am sure we have enough leftovers for a few more meals!
We will go again, absolutely will be our go to place for amazing homemade chinese food“

“My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with warm personal service. We had a nice view of the Main street in Placerville from our second floor overlook table. Great food, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend the strawberry Panna cotta with chocolate mousse for dessert. Great personal service from the owner!! Very friendly. Will be going back soon.!“
