“Café La Haye is a hidden Sonoma gem—a quaint, art-filled bistro with a relaxed yet refined vibe. The seasonal dishes pack serious flavor—like that unforgettable heritage pork chop and the ever-changing risotto. Paired with a thoughtful wine list and warm service, every dinner feels like an elegant celebration. Just be sure to make a reservation—the place fills up fast!”
Excellent! So grateful they're open for lunch now. The service was spot on, everything one wants for good dining experience. The food was perfect from start to finish. The Ceaser salad was made to perfection. The burger was excellent, with fresh delicious cooked juicy meat & amazing cheese with local farm sweet tomatoes served on the best bun. Also pared with tasty roasted potatoes, peppers & onions. The apricot crisp with vanilla ice cream & caramel sauce was unforgettable! Go...you will not be sorry.
Our group had an excellent dinner prior to going to the Transcendence Theater summer show at the Field of Dreams in Sonoma. Service was absolutely fabulous. One of our guests was running late because she was working late at the hospital. The server didn't like the fact that her pre-ordered salad was sitting at the table for ten minutes, and they re-made her a fresh salad when she arrived. Can't ask for better attention than that. A fairly short menu, but everything we ordered was delicious, and dishes passing by all looked smashing as well. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.
Darling local place under new ownership. You can count on it being delicious with a lively atmosphere and small cozy dining space. Delightful staff and the food is dependable. Everything I've had is really good with a rare miss on one dessert. Charming.
My wife and I went here to celebrate an anniversary. It's a small place and the atmosphere is conducive for a quiet dinner. Not really a place for kids. The starters we ordered were the arugula watermelon salad and braised short ribs with a pastry and peas, carrots. Both were very good. I had the pork chop which was excellent, and my wife ordered the pasta on the daily special, of which I don't remember the specifics, but she was very pleased. For dessert we split the apple crisp and that was awesome. Excellent food and overall experience. I would most definitely come back again.
The restaurant is charming and because of the high ceilings rather quiet. It seems it's not a waiter but a whole team that greets and serves you. Nothing is left unattended. As for the food...we all five shared what we'd ordered and liked them all. The 'mango sorbet' from Scoops around the corner and up the street is not to be missed. Such a great place to dine at. This is our go to restaurant when visiting Sonoma. This is the third year in a row that we've celebrated our anniversary dinner. The food is amazing!
Going to Café LaHaye is always like coming home and being treated like family. The food is bespoke farm to table, lovingly put together by caring hands, and knowledgeable staff who always treat you like one of their own. We can't say enough, good things about them and hope you'll try them out too.
We had the Caesar Salad, Watermelon Salad, shrimp with pasta and tomato and the sole petrale. All were superb. The Caesar was classic style with a delicious dressing and the watermelon the sweetest we have ever tasted. Both mains were of the same quality as the appetizers. Our waitperson was Gabriela who was also delightful, friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. A great experience for a reasonable price

Cafe Le Haye was wonderful. The foods great and the service excellent. Good to have a new lunch spot in Sonoma. Will return soon.
An excellent venue. Everything was good and I would strongly recommend. The service was super and tge food matched the service. My only comment was the cost which I thought was aclittlevon the high side. But that would not stop me returning as I appreciate that good food prepared and served well is expensive.
New owner and management did not affect the quality and taste of the food. We've been customers since Cafe LaHaye opened. One suggestion: BRING BACK THE BUTTER SCOTCH PUDDING!!
We had a great experience at Cafe LaHaye! Four of us enjoyed great food, wine, and ambiance. This has always been a favorite restaurant, and the excellence continues.
Absolutely outstanding experience—food, service, and ambiance were all top-tier. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the cozy, intimate atmosphere made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance—the space is small and fills up quickly, especially on weekends. I already can't wait to return in two months to try the dishes I missed the first time. Pro tip: save room for dessert—the warm almond cake is a must. Lightly crisp on the outside, soft and fragrant inside... it's the perfect way to end the meal. This place is truly a gem in Sonoma. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
