They could take my money every single day and I’d still be like the experience was worth it.

A small charming restaurant just off the Sonoma square, this lived up to the hype of being on the Michelin list.Upon entering, check out the chalkboard specials - we ended up ordering three dishes from it.Everything was amazing - fresh ingredients, bold flavors. Particular favorite was the scallop, salmon, and uni starter served with daikon radish and micro greens in a light ponzu sauce. The vegetarian risotto was one of the best I’ve tasted, and I almost always order risotto if it’s on the menu. It was the perfect texture, and I would describe it as fresh tasting. Our server recommended the yuzu cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. In hindsight, we should have ordered two.

Cute looking, small, enjoyable restaurant. We had: Scallops in puff pastry appetizers --delicious (we ordered 2, so we didn't have to share) Vegetarian Risotto (with the option of added shrimp) -- very good Grilled marinated filet mignon with beurre Montpelier, demi glace, asparagus, roasted garlic-chipotle hominy purée -- very good and quite unique Desserts: Almond cake with salted caramel ice cream -- good Chocolate "cake" of some sort -- super rich & silky, very good Service was great, decor was cute (you can go casual or dress up a bit),

The food was delicious, portions small, prices high, and service was very attentive. Dinner for two with one appetizer to share, one main course and dessert each, 3 glasses of wine, and after tip bill was $200. I would come back for a special occasion again.

Staff was amazing. Everyone was very kind and helpful. When we first arrived they greeted us and told me “happy birthday” since I mentioned it in the reservation. It was so nice to be greeted with that right away. Everyone was so attentive and the food was delicious. My husband and I had a great experience, we can't wait to go back.

We love this restaurant and have been several times. This past time, the food and service wasn't as good as in the past — but we will certainly give this another chance. This is such a charming restaurant— our favorite in the square — hopefully it was just an off night!

There were 4 of us and we all found the food, the service, the atmosphere outstanding!!! The recommendations were spot on. The evening was so enjoyable, we're booked for the next night...the last night of our stay in Sonoma. And fortunately they had an opening. Highly recommend!

We always enjoy our time at Cafe La Haye! From the moment we are enthusiastically greeted at the door to the intimate setting the stage is set for a delightful experience. The service is impeccable. The food always interesting and perfectly prepared. The wine list extensive and geared for all tastes and wallets.

The dining experience at Cafe La Haye is exceptional from entry to departure. The welcome, the service, the atmosphere, and the menu are all wonderful and the food is spectacular. The overall event of a meal here is very hard to match.

We had a wonderful meal at Cafe La Haye. It has been years since we've been in the area and able to eat there, but it great to see that they have at least maintained their excellent level. Each dish - carpaccio, risotto and two desserts were each very well prepared. They also have a very good wine list with excellent representation of Sonoma County's terrific wines.

Wonderful, intimate location with a thoughtful and well executed menu that takes a refreshing approach towards classics (filet mignon, seared tuna, cheesecake, etc). A must if you're looking for an upscale, memorable culinary experience in Sonoma.

We have heard such good things about your restaurant and my father waited for a special occasion to take us for dinner. I'm sad to say that it was just ok. We will not be back.

Food was great, in particular mushroom soup and trout. Service was good as well. Only complaint was the table we were seated at was super awkward, 1 person just staring at the wall and the other staring at another couple. Other than that it was a good night but being seated at the worst table kind of took away from the experience.
