We came upon the Edge restaurant during a Sonoma/Napa wine visit. We didn’t eat here but instead just got a bottle of wine Melissa was AMAZING!! What an absolutely lovely person she is. She was so knowledgeable about the wine but in a very unpretentious way that we totally appreciated. Most people in my party are white wine drinkers while I’m more of a red and when I mentioned that she brought me over a couple of incredible reds to taste for free!! She even gave us two opened bottles-but with 3/4 of wine in it as we left saying she would just be throwing it away at the end of the day anyway. Go to this place! Talk to Melissa. You will be happy you did x

This stellar dining experience is flying under the radar! I firmly believe that we will say in the future that we remember dining there when . . .We loved the opportunity to have dinner and taste wines from the Stone Edge Farm wine offerings. All of the dishes were expertly prepared and paired with the Stone Edge wines.What really elevated this experience was the entire staff. Everyone was personable, professional, and knowledgeable about the food and wines. As another reviewer noted, none of the staff is pretentious and it’s so refreshing.The one thing that really stood out, was an herbal tea served with the dessert course. A staff member creates a tea that compliments desert, serves as a digestive and has calming properties. I enjoyed 2 cups of the tea and woke up feeling fabulous the next morning. After two days of indulging in fine dining and wine tasting, that says a lot!My only regret is that we live just far enough away that we can’t make this restaurant regular dining experience.

Michelin should be on notice! This is one of Sonoma County's hidden gems! This restaurant, intimate seating, decor, and exceptional table service resonate with a luxurious supper club. The seasonal menu changes at the direction of Chef Butron's direction of their organic farm. Simply wowed by the delicious tasting menu paired with excellent wines coming from their estate vineyards. Add this amazing restaurant to your list to visit and enjoy!

Edge is under the radar Michelin-Star quality hiding in Sonoma.Peru native Fiorella Butron serves balanced, inventive and delicious fare that draws on her heritage and highlights the bounty of Sonoma. Her menu changes with the seasons and is always on point. It's a wonder that Thomas Keller does snap up Fi and install her as chef de cuisine at French Laundry: she's that good. As director of dining, Larry Nadeau is gracious and brilliant. Heeding his recommendations will ensure a fine dining experience. Edge is a unique experience: classy, but not pretentious. The menu changes weekly highlighting the bounty of the season. Always delicious.Pro-tip: Edge is prix fixe billed to your card on file. No check presentation; done and done. As it should be.For a special occasion, Edge is your best bet in Sonoma.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Edge, a restaurant by Stone Edge Winery located in a Victorian house right in downtown Sonoma by Sonoma Square. We were seated outside in the covered patio area and handed a 7-course prix fixe menu and warm cloth towels. The food was incredible, but was almost overshadowed by the even more spectacular presentation. My favorites were the Corvina Fish w/Crispy Calamari, Sweet Potato, Fermented Pepper Paste and Tiger's Milk and the Monterey King Salmon w/Shitake Mushrooms, Bok Choy, Fava Beans, English Peas & Curry, and the Rhubarb Tarte dessert that came with fresh strawberry ice cream. Each entree came with a wine pairing and the menu changes weekly. Our servers were very professional yet also really personable and fun, and we really enjoyed chatting with them during the meal and learning about the history of the restaurant and winery. Definitely recommend for a special fine dining experience!

Blown away by this meal. We were recommended this restaurant by a wine concierge setting up a Sonoma food & wine tasting for us, and I wasn't sure about it since it barely had reviews. It was pricey, but honestly one of the best meals we have ever had, and we're a group of chefs, foodies and typically tough critics. The ceviche with tiger's milk (a tangy, lightly spicy, citrus broth) blew all the ceviches I've had before out of the water, the pork belly was heavenly, staff was exceptional, every wine was stunning. Truly an experience I'll be thinking about for quite some time.

Excellent food and wine pairings, coupled with a phenomenal staff, made our experience at EDGE absolutely wonderful. Larry and his team - Alexa, Lexi, Nicole, Walter and Melissa - were not only knowledgeable about the food, farm and wines, but charismatic and engaging as well. We will definitely be back in the future, and highly recommend this gem as a must-stop place for fine dining in Sonoma. Thank you, Larry and team!
