We enjoyed the Sip and Soar Package at Sangiacomo Family Wines. Unfortunately our hot air balloon ride had to be rescheduled with Sonoma Ballooning, although we were expecting this due to the weather and are looking forward to rescheduling this at a later date. We were so grateful to still be able to experience our wine tasting here.
Leane reached out to us prior to our visit and let us know what to expect on the day of our tasting and asked if we had any dietary restrictions. The hospitality at Sangiacomo Family Wines is one of the many things that makes this wine tasting experience extra special. We were warmly welcomed by our wine tasting host and educator, Vlada, as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed a splash of Sauvignon Blanc that was amazing. Everyone that works here was so friendly and welcoming.
Along the visit, you will see a collection of other wine labels from other wineries in Sonoma County and Napa Valley that get their wines from Sangiacomo vineyards. The amount of different wineries that get their fruit from Sangiacomo vineyards is impressive. Before being seated, we soaked in the stunning views of their vineyards on the property.
We enjoyed a delicious spread of pastries, cheeses, and charcuterie, which we enjoyed as part of our visit. This winery is known for their exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Everything we sipped was absolutely amazing, and we loved all the wines we tried.
Vlada was an exceptional host and we learned so much about this winery. We learned that this is a family owned winery that started out as a pear farm. It changed to a winery and love that it has remained a family owned winery over the years. Our tasting was cozy and we loved all the festive decor. The property has rustic trucks and a tractor on the property that they decorate during the different seasons.
We were blown away by how much we loved all of their wines. We purchased a few bottles of wines to enjoy at a later date. An all around exceptional wine experience in Sonoma! Highly recommend to all!
I cannot recommend Sangiacomo Vineyards enough. They were kind enough to host my surprise proposal two weeks ago and everything was perfect! They were so kind and welcoming to us especially as this was our first time in wine country. The Chardonnay was fantastic and we are so excited to visit in the upcoming months/years!
Thank you for graciously getting our large group in at the last minute!
Phenomenal wines in a beautiful setting. Very relaxing atmosphere, highly recommend.
Sangiacomo was literally the only vineyard we visited in our quick trip to Sonoma, and I’m so glad we chose it! Jillian was an exceptional host. She was knowledgeable, professional and so approachable. We had such a beautiful afternoon doing the tour and tasting. She even gave us great recommendations for the rest of our road trip through California. We can’t wait to come back and visit! If you are feeling overwhelmed with choices… this is a great place to be. We felt so attended to without feeling in a crowded place, and we loved the history of the family and winery.
Came here on a bachelorette trip as our last stop of the day - 5/5 WOW!!!! Such a fantastic experience, the winery is so gorgeous and Andrew Smith was our som - He was absolutely perfect. Incredibly experienced, but approachable in his interactions. He made us feel 100% welcomed and so special. Definitely come visit Sangiacomo when in Sonoma.
Kristin was a great host.
Their wines are the best we had in Sonoma. I don’t even like Chardonnay and theirs was delicious. We ended up buying their fantastic Sauvignon Blanc and their cab
Dodds and Meghan were amazing hosts, Steve was gracious in also spending time, amazing wine, atmosphere and of course, people
Delicious and everyone is so friendly and family :)

Favorite winery in Sonoma! I was initially worried since online booking showed no availability, but a quick call got us a same-day tour—and it ended up being the highlight of the trip. Most of the tour was outside, which made for a perfect, sunny experience on their beautiful patio.
Our guide, Kristen, was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us just the right amount of space to enjoy the wine and views. Bonus: she’s a fellow Mizzou grad!
With so many wineries to choose from, Sangiacomo is absolutely worth a visit.
Holy smokes this place was amazing!!! The wine, the view, the story, the service......our favorite for the week!! Absolutely beautiful....
Mirna was an absolute sweetheart! She was so knowledgeable and patient answering all of our questions. This vineyard was gorgeous and I can’t recommend it enough!!
This was the best tasting all week. Andrew was phenomenal. Everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable about the wines and the vineyard’s impact on the area. Great pinots especially but regardless of the wine you like, you won’t regret going here.
We stopped in on a whim, while returning to Gilroy, after visiting the Sonoma Square. Andrew greeted us warmly, and said we could do a tasting, even though we had no reservations. He was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the property, and family. We were seated in a beautiful outdoor patio. Over the next 45-60 minutes, he talked and walked us through what we were tasting. It was very enjoyable. We purchased some delicious wines. Thanks again Andrew, for your holospitality, patience and thoughtfulness.
