We had an incredible dining experience at Krudo Sushi & Modern Kitchen. We ordered the Pulpo Zarandeado, Sushi Sampler (8 pieces), and Tuna Tataki with ginger soy, and every single dish was a hit.

The Pulpo Zarandeado was the star of the night — the octopus legs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly grilled with just the right smoky char, and paired with fried rice so flavorful it could be a dish on its own. The Sushi Sampler was fresh, beautifully presented, and showcased the chef’s skill in balancing textures and flavors. The Tuna Tataki was seared to perfection, with a delicate ginger soy sauce that complemented rather than overpowered the fish.

The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, and the service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. If you love sushi and creative seafood dishes, Krudo Sushi & Modern Kitchen is an absolute must-try!

Little sushi counter with friendly Japanese‑speaking chef. I tried salmon nigiri and an avocado tempura roll—fresh and light. The miso soup felt homemade. Cozy seating for six, all counter‑style. I overheard regulars greeting the owner by name—generates a welcoming vibe.

The place is nice. Very hip to the songs playing in the background. Stake was tender and the sushi was fresh and delicious. I drove Irvine to get to this place. I will try the octopus next time.

This place is not it. Way too expensive for sushi that was honestly just bad, no flavor, was WARM, and nothing felt fresh. On top of that, the staff had a really rude attitude the entire time. Not worth the price, not worth the experience. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Good sushi / seafood , except their guacamole, extremely , rude waitresses the red haired ones, ( petty, l gossiping about clients, seemed entitled maybe their related to owners? We couldn’t make sense as to why they’d act that way) but we could see and hear it , the ones who used to be there were very nice . We think management has changed are not sure why quality of customer service has gone down. Best ordering take out from here or picking up .

They serve one of the best California rolls I have ever had. The special roll was delicious 😋 Very friendly service and a great place to meet after work with friends!!
