Came for the shrimp burrito on Sunday. Fairly big burrito, spice level is hot. Terribly wrapped so had to fork it. For the high price ($24) compared to the rest of the menu, not sure I’d order it again.

Lolita’s on Rosemead in El Monte is always a solid choice, but their shrimp burritos on Sundays are on another level. All of their food is consistently good—fresh, flavorful, and well-made—but those Sunday shrimp burritos are easily the star of the menu. They’re packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely worth stopping by for. If you’re in the area and want something delicious, Lolita’s never disappoints.

Lolita’s Torta de Milanesa was super delicious. Next time I will ask for extra Jalapeño sauce and mayo since it was very lightly coated, I wish they added lettuce though. The ladies cooking it up were the sweetest!
