Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite bars the service is phenomenal Chris big Mike Joanna best friend and the new girl Chantel aka Alex is amazing the bar is extremely clean staff is friendly and know what you like for me it’s like a 4.5 out of 5 but 100% will be a 5 if they had twisted tea thank you 626 bar for a good time all the time

Went there right before Thanksgiving, and there two bartenders there; Michael and Chris.Michael was very attentive and gave some good drinks to try. He had a great personality and I felt welcomed.Chris was the polar opposite. Chris was very short and didn't seem like he wanted to be there. No personality at all. He looks like he works out too much. Stay off the roids dude.Drinks were okay because of the price.

Drinks were delicious and cheap and the place was small so get there before the crowd to enjoy a game of pool which is fun! And the snacks were just right And the service was nice! For one guy I thought he did pretty good

My friends and I were looking to continue our celebrations after attending a wedding just a few blocks away. The bride and groom joined us as well! If you're looking for a laid back dive bar, this is your spot. The bartenders are super cool and very friendly. Unlike other bars, the bathroom was very clean. Drinks are reasonably priced and they don't skimp. They have a couple pool tables that provide hours of entertainment. All in all this place is fun for casual drinks with friends which is no frills, no fuss!

The 626 bar is the definition of a classic divey bar in all of the good ways. It's small and clean with a couple places to sit. It has 3 billiard tables to gather around and play. The drinks are fairly priced and the service is friendly. The music was pretty chaotic ranging from rock to country to hip hop within minutes but it was fun to get a mix of it all. It wasn't too loud where you can't hear what your company has to say and as a plus they let you bring your own food. This seems like a perfect place to end the night.

This establishment is the epitome of a hole in the wall but not in a bad, negative way but rather a small, unassuming and comfortable way. This place lies on the crossroads of Garvey and Rosemead in El Monte, as such it's easy to miss because the building itself is nondescript. There is street parking and a small parking lot attached on the side, one business over. Before a certain time, there are drink specials. I tried the old-fashioned as part of the happy hour drink specials and also had a tequila shot. The shot came in a generous shot glass. There are three pool tables, a sparingly amount of pub tables and the option of a juke box. There are two small bathrooms both of which were maintained well. This establishment is very intimate and has a good ambiance. I was being a very loud lady on this particular night but the staff were very accepting of my crazy lady behavior. There was music overhead and I loved it but would have loved some Prince or Rick James. I had a blast and the casual environment lent to endless possibilities. As they say, the night was pregnant with adventures.
