We stopped across the street at sombreros and saw better reviews here and were impressed with the vegan cheese. We got nachos and we’re impressed as it was clean and tasty

Cashier was rude, burritos fell apart, rice was undercooked, plantains were burnt, and we were served chip crumbs. Won't be returning.

The huevos rancheros were as good as I have ever had- and I have lived 6 decades in Texas and California. Trust me it was right there on that empty plate. The presentation was excellent also.

We’ve always wanted to stop here and finally did so today. Wow! I got the traditional burrito with chicken and chorizo as the protein. An excellent burrito!!! My wife got the fish taco, also amazing. Frescana Mexican Bistro has Elevated to our new favorite place in Tahoe.

I don’t review too many restaurants but this place was noteworthy for both food quality and service! The breakfast burrito was one of the best I’ve had and I’m a food nerd.
Lots of details done right and great textural notes from the hash browns.
The plantain and dip was very unexpected but somehow worked as well. Overall I have a very happy belly now :)

Insanely good food. I got the vegan enchiladas and my husband got the brisket plate. We both devoured our dishes. Great flavors, fresh food. Everyone was so kind too! Highly recommend!

Everything was delicious. Great homemade salsa and guacamole. Super burrito. Even as someone who is very picky for Mexican, this place is great. If you're in South Lake Tahoe and craving Mexican, you have to check out this place.
