Jimmy's at The Landing Resort & Spa

Wonderful surprise... One of the closest restaurants to where we live and we had never been there! Decided to try it on a whim at 6PM, weekday night (off season). It was packed. No way to get a table but the bar serves same menu and there was a quiet corner with 3 stools open. The place is nice and cozy and appears to be very popular. Parking faces the lake and is right on the beach. I'm sure people love to hang out on the decks on summer nights but it was just too cold for us (Late October). The bar seating was just fine, very good service and excellent food. We tried the Wagu Flat Iron, Braised Short Ribs and Sea Bass. Everyone was happy with their own meal... That's three thumbs up. Good wine and bourbon selection to boot. We shall be back with reservations next time.

We had our wedding rehearsal at Jimmy's and it was a fantastic evening. Chelsea and her team made sure we were taken care of the whole evening and the food was some of the best we've ever had. If you're a fan of good food, wine, and a beautiful setting for dinner, this is the place for you.

Absolutely recommend. We had this place to ourselves in mid-October. Wine was prestige, tuna melt and salad was great. Kids portions were huge. Views of the beach and snowy mountains were amazing. Kids ice cream were in the house!

Views (even though it was cloudy n rainy) are fabulous and the food was delicious. Came for brunch. Hubby had the omelet and I had the Cuban sammy. Delicious.

The food was excellent and our server, Lily was great!!!! Wished we lived in the area, so we could visit there more often.

The atmosphere is beautiful. The menu reads very nicely and has a lot of variety. I like that they had a kids menu and the restaurant seemed nice and clean.. The service could be better. It took us forever to pay.. we had to track someone down. Our waiter, nor any of the support staff filled up coffees or water we had to find someone ask. The food itself was lackluster. The people in our party that had the omelette seemed to enjoy them. But the mahi tacos, the Reuben, and the club sandwich. We're not very good..  It's a restaurant that relies too heavily on its looks and not its quality.

Dinner was innovative and well prepared. For a young staff, they carried out their duties admirably and tried hard to please.

We’ve been on the road for three weeks before we arrived to Tahoe and tried Jimmy’s. It was hands down the best food we’ve hand in the US thus far and I’m sure it will be hard to top. Just wonderful - coconut and carrot soup was balanced out perfectly, bolognese and short rib were incredible, my mouth waters days after and the desserts were also just delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food!

Jimmy's Landing at Stateline in South Lake Tahoe was recommended to us by the small business owner(s) of Will & Ivey on Kingsbury grade. Our server, Lily provided top-tier service with finesse, and she never missed a beat. She was excellent in every respect, including her entree recommendations, her awareness and timeliness of attending our table service needs, and her professional but engaging demeanor. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was peaceful and lovely and the view of the lake during the sunset hour was awe-inspiring. Jimmy's is a 5-Star experience you don't want to miss!

We really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. Beautiful view of the sunset. Nice variety of food and the service was very nice.

Excellent food. The salmon and the maitake mushrooms were divine. The atmosphere is lovely.
