On our first visit to Tahoe we discovered Maggie's for dinner. Its cozy and intimate, boutique feel is a great atmosphere for a date night, anniversary or other special occasion. They have a good wine list and the sea bass and braised rib were wonderful! The menu isn't expansive but all the choices were very good, including the burrata starter. Service was friendly and attentive.
The staff was so kind ! We came in with our golden doodle puppy, who is very much a big puppy now. They offered us seating inside since it was cold outside but once we sat down we realized the inside was a little too small for our big pup. They were so kind to move us outside after setting us up inside. They just wanted our pup to be comfortable. It was a real treat to experience Maggie's restaurant. We decided to stay at the desolation hotel, and Maggie's is their restaurant on site. Their menu is small, but wonderful. We had dinner (the filet and the salmon dish) here with one of their signature drinks and also breakfast (the omelette with potatoes and the pear glazed French toast) and the day we left we walked in and just ordered a couple of lattes.
