I had the octopus appetizer and the lamb bolognese, both were amazing. The octopus was super tender. Service was great and very attentive from everyone working. Everything was perfect, would come back for sure!

Amazing food and ambiance! Everyone loved their dishes. We sat outside but the bar was super cute. Can’t wait to come back and try more on the menu - everything looked delicious! Octopus app and vodka sauce pasta were my favorite. Must try!!!

One of the highlights of our South Lake Tahoe trip! Primo has everything you need for a wonderful night out- best atmosphere, top-notch food and best friendly server. We had our pup with us thus opted for their patio seating. It was beautifully decorated with a fireplace and checkered rooftop with surrounding glass walls. Plenty of parkings around. We were seated promptly. Our server Aisha was super attentive and considerate as she made sure to give us space while ensuring we had everything we needed. They offered free Italian popcorn which was super delicious! We ordered their squid, lamb racks, hot link sausages pasta, a bottle of Sangiovese wine (Made in Italy) and Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was made to perfection. Portion was generous and price was so reasonable! Overall, we had such a great experience there and would totally come back next time we’re in Tahoe. A huge shoutout to our server Aisha for her beyond-amazing service! Highly recommended this place!

While the service was really great, our party was disappointed with the food provided. No bread is given as an appetizer. As an Italian restaurant, you’d expect this to be a standard. Also, most land/meat options don’t come with any sides, just the meat, that’s it. For the amount of money you spend, you’d expect to get some sort of side but instead, you have to pay extra for them.

We just had dinner here Sept. 4th….
This place just opened about four months ago. So maybe there is an excuse. But the food was just average. At best. The night before we went to Scusa. Far better food quality and much fairer prices. And by the way I took my in-laws here… old school Italian who know how to cook Italian at a high level.

I had the veal Marsala, it was almost bad. I had about 8 bites of veal. One small filet. That’s it. The pasta was sticky and dry. The sauce was lack luster. Very unfortunate.

My father in law had pasta with lamb bolognese, it tasted ok but he got sick when he got home. Sort of odd. He did not get sick after his seafood pasta from Scusa’s.
My wife had the eggplant parmigiana- just average. Too saucy.

They do not serve bread with dinner but brought out a tin of seasoned popcorn. Very odd and not that good. Lastly, no coffee or tea…. Disappointed my mother in law.

On the positive side, the restaurant has a stunning atmosphere, great for large groups.

Really great food and service. The veal marsala and the octopus were sooo good. The drinks are great, too. Especially the Negroni.
