We were in South Lake Tahoe celebrating my friends birthday and looking for a place that was open late Sunday night. Ended up coming to Primos, they had bar menu since it was after 9 PM. They menu had a couple entrees and some appetizers. I had the chicken carbonara and my friend had the shrimp chicken alfredo. 😋 absolutely delicious, service was amazing and fast. Light atmosphere felt so fancy and elegant and very relaxing. Oh, and the drinks! We had the old fashioned and the mai tai, absolutely delicious. Very good selection of wines as well.😊Recommend 10/10, the server brought my friend a pudding dessert with a candle 🎂 🥳! Definitely would recommend and come back next time we are in town.

Stopped here on a whim for brunch from seeing a sign driving by and every other brunch place was crazy crowded in Tahoe. This place was AMAZING! Seriously so flavorful and we had the best server named Nicole, the bartender makes a delicious hazelnut americano and I don’t think we could have had a better experience! My boyfriend got the octopus and said it was the best he’s ever had. The Italian take on potatoes was phenomenal. I’ve never made a review on anything before but that’s just how great the food and service was here. Highly recommend!!!

Wow! I can’t believe I’ve lived in S Lake this long have never eaten here. Hands down best meal I’ve had around the Lake. Sal our server was amazing and had excellent recommendation for dinner; wine and desert . What a beautiful place to eat in Tahoe!

Hostess was rude, food was so underwhelming and way over priced for small portions of unremarkable entrees. Appetizers were the best, but not great.
There are better places to eat.

I was really let down by this place. I was recommended this place from friends who absolutely love it here. I decided to take my girlfriend there for her birthday. The hostess was very friendly and acknowledged that it was my girlfriend’s birthday. But our waitress was not great. She didn’t tell us her name but she never checked up on us or made eye contact. I was very uncomfortable. I let her know it was my girlfriend’s birthday but she didn’t seem to care. She gave us the bill without offering dessert. And walked away after we paid without saying anything. This was very unfortunate because we came from San Francisco to have a great time at Tahoe and I wanted to give my girlfriend a great dinner. The food was great! Atmosphere was excellent! The service we received was bad unfortunately.

I am a South Lake local and this is my first time eating at Primo's since this property changed ownership a few years back. I don't know why I waited so long! The food is amazing, the outdoor patio is a must on a nice warm Tahoe summer evening.

The lasagna with braised wild boar, wow! And the mussel appetizer is a must try.

Sal waited on us and provided us with great service.

I will be back.
