We ate here before going to Tube Tahoe which is right down the street from this place. I got the ramen birria 100/10 it was sooo good!! My bf got the burrito which was huge he took it to go. Beer is available. Would def recommend before hitting the snow!

Decided to finally try this place out. What a mistake. I ordered the quesobirria plate and a michelada. Dude forgets to charge me for the miche, so I had to pay the credit card fee of 3% twice. Food was terrible, beans were gross no flavor, rice was bland no flavor, tacos were very underwhelming. They don't even provide napkins. The Michelada ended up being pretty good tho. But probably never coming back.

Sombreros is awesome. From their breakfast burritos to their birria. Great salsas as well. Some places just put out "ok" salsas, but theirs are killer. Highly recommend the birria and al pastor...on anything.

I got a burrito bowl and a burrito super they were fantastic and the burrito was like a 3 serving burrito 🙌🤩 huge very good I will be back. Staff was very friendly and obliging. Thank you

Sombreros catered our wedding at Valhalla and it was perfect! First, the food was delicious. We got the taco bar and it was awesome: three different types of meat plus all of the toppings and rice and beans. Also, the owner Chuy was an absolute pleasure to work with and we felt his prices were totally reasonable when compared to other caterers in the area. We were so happy we went with Sombreros for our wedding and we will definitely stop by to eat at the restaurant whenever we are in Tahoe again.

If you love great Mexican food, friendly staff and free chips then don't go here!!! I've eaten here 4 times hoping things would change and every time its been the same experience. The food has been disgusting and the girl working the register is the MOST UNFRIENDLY and RUDE person I have ever encountered working in customer service. Every time. She's awful and needs to not be in customer service. Another thing that bothers me is they have a full salsa bar (like every taqueria), so I order food and then after I pay I asked for chips, as chips are free in just about every Taqueria in America and she tells me its $1, which I pay, no problem, but then she just hands some paper bag of chips they clearly bagged hours ago and the entire paper bag is soaked with grease. Bad food, bad attitudes and bad prices. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

We were on vacation and decided to try this restaurant. The first thing that disappointed me was the service. A girl with an angry face answered our questions very rudely. My cheese birria plate had very little cilantro and onion and the birria had a lot of fat. The flavor of the food was not good. so bad but the bad service ruined my day a smile would make the difference for families who visit from so far away and decide to try new places

Sombreros catered tacos for my wedding reception and it was a HIT! My guests loved there tacos, we did 3 different meats with homemade guacamole, rice, and beans. I received many compliments about the tacos from everyone and I myself thoroughly enjoyed them after a long day. I highly recommend them for any catering needs in the South Lake Tahoe area! Thank you to Chuy and team for doing such a great job.
