Sonney's BBQ Shack Bar & Grill

Food came out warm/almost cold. Not hot. I couldnt eat most of my meal because it was not up to temp. Could hear rats in the walls and under the tables. They were loud enough that it could be heard over the music and pool table. We left, and not even 2 hours later, I began vomiting up everything I ate from here. that was the worst dining out experience I have ever had! The customer service was awesome though! The rest of the experience was a huge nope.

Always great food. Great service and great people. Highly recommend!

The receptionist at the front desk is being unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate our request to split the table, despite us waiting for over 30 minutes. She continues to serve customers who arrived after us. We attempted to speak with the manager, but they offered no solution, suggesting we either accept the situation or go to another restaurant. Poor customer service!

Well, I can't give any criticism on the food, service, or atmosphere because we didn't make it past the hostess station. She didn't seem to be able to process the idea that we wanted to sit at one of the many empty tables outside. I also watched a seated table get up and leave. I have to assume it's due to not being greeted or served. We were there around 2:30pm. It wasn't that busy, although the hostess informed us that it was.

We left and went down the street to the Emerald Bay Bar and Grill. At least we're seated and enjoying a beer!

We went today 10/19/24 at about 1300, we were 5 families total of 11 adults and 6 children, we informed the lady in red receptionist that we can eat separately by families as children were already hungry , she asked us to wait as she will prepare the table, othe custumers arrived and she allowed 5 families to dine ahead of us, after 30mins we inquired as the status of our table, the lady in red was disrespectful with a high tone insisted that she will put us in a group of two table and insisted that we should wait another 25–30mins, and repeatedly said or else you look for another place, we saw that there were vacant tables. We suspected that she wanted to put us in big group so as to bigger gratuity.

Excellent service, food was really good. Had the beef brisket sandwich and jalapeño poppers. Salads are huge and nicely presented.

We ask our waitress...for a chicken breast with No seasoning for our Dog ? She brought us with a robe if you don't have it just let us know ?
And our bake potatoes was brownies color from inside-it was not fresh!!!!
To top it off are Bill was charged twice of our credit card.

We heard about this place on a YouTube reviewers video.

The staff was super cool. The server checked on us frequently, and the food tasted great.

The reason I'm giving this review a 4 star was due to the ribs. My wife said they burnt, but it didn't bother me none. I like the saucy charcoaled taste, but I do realize that not everyone enjoys this on their ribs.

I definitely recommend this spot.

First off, food is very good, love the rustic setting, but service was not shinning. Let me say, every single employee was “very friendly” and they were a little busy, but they spend to much time chit-chatting with each other and other patrons, who may be employees off the clock. We sat at the bar, and waited a while to just get drinks, again bartender was nice, but took him a long time to help us due to over chatting with others. We don’t have a problem with the small talk, but see who needs help, just balance the chatting, spread the talk wealth.
