The parking is easy, quickly seated and ready to eat! Just the way I like it! The food is delicious, service great and priced reasonably. I'll be back again soon to enjoy MORE!!

I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I especially love the great atmosphere and delicious Italian cuisine. Every time I come to Tahoe,Tony and the staff make us feel like family

Went here a few weeks ago while I was I tahoe. The staff is so incredibly sweet and the good is AMAZING! Sad to hear they were closed and only open two day's a week.

Tep's hosted our wedding reception in the middle of July 2021. What a great experience! The food was bountiful and delicious. Leading up to the day, Dan had been having staffing issues, but we couldn't have been more impressed by his staff; they were incredibly.

Best Italian food in tahoe! We have been coming here for years and everything is always good and waiters have always been friendly. We had our rehearsal dinner at teps and it was awesome! Dan and his employees are so nice and made everything great! I definitely recommend going here, hopefully he can find more employees with all the craziness going on. We will be patiently waiting for the salad bar to come back and parmasan breadsticks?

In Spring 2020 I reached out to Dan to see about making a reservation for our rehearsal lunch as our wedding was scheduled for October 2020. Being that we weren’t sure if the Pandemic would be over by then, Dan did not want to charge us a deposit fee, but just penciled us on for the event. Late Summer 2020 it was determined that we would be able to push our wedding to May 2021, I was told by Dan that he still didn’t want to charge us a deposit for the rehearsal because he didn’t know if he could host the event due to the Covid restrictions, but he would pencil us in for our rehearsal lunch scheduled for Friday May 14, 2021. He suggested coming in or circling back to him as we got closer to the date. On March 28, 2021, my husband and I went into Tep’s Villa Roma and met with Dan face to face. He had a clip board with notes from our past conversations. Dan showed up the banquet room where the rehearsal would take place, we went over menu options and bar options. Dan explained that they had not hosted an even in the banquet hall since February 2020, and that he was glad that we were still moving forward with having our rehearsal lunch at the restaurant. We signed a contract and paid the $500 deposit for the event.So many small businesses struggled to stay afloat during the last year and a half, so my husband and I were more than happy to support a local favorite Italian restaurant while celebrating out wedding in South Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen. Dan never called me the week leading up to the event. The day of the rehearsal a couple of our bridesmaids went to the restaurant to set up a photo backdrop and were told that we didn’t have a reservation, we didn’t sign a contract and we didn’t pay the deposit. I called Dan, he acted as if I was crazy. He said that he doesn’t know why I think we are having an event at the restaurant when we never paid a deposit. I had the actual receipt in my wedding paperwork that proved his statement was false. He told me that he didn’t have any of our information on hand. And that at that point he wouldn’t even be able to accommodate our party, at the scheduled start time of 1:30 pm (it was 12:55 pm when I was speaking to him). He also told me IF I could prove that we paid a deposit he may be able to give us our money back. He said that he called me several times in the week leading up to the event and left messages for me and that I never called him back. My phone records proved that was false as well.To say we were upset would be an understatement. The rehearsal was set to start in 30 minutes and we had about 35 hungry people that we needed to host. My husband went straight to the restaurant to get our deposit back; Dan came walking out with the clipboard that had our menu, signed contract, and deposit receipt. He said he didn’t know what went wrong. And couldn’t give us a cash refund because he didn’t have enough on hand. He credited our card back the deposit, which everyone knows the funds are not available right away. NO ONE was at the restaurant, it was empty.Luckily, The Brewery at South Lake Tahoe was able to accommodate us at 2:00 pm. Once I explained what was going on, they were more than happy to close off their entire dining room to us. In the end, as our family (around 55 people) came in from out of town they were able to join us for lunch. The food and service were exceptional, which is more than I can say for Tep’s Villa Roma.

They are not quite half full but say they are booked for the night. 3 employees just standing around. Tried calling in an order to go also, was told they had a full house and were not doing to go orders, "but you can try again tomorrow accept were closed Mondays." The one star is only because I couldn't give a zero. We'll spend our hard earned cash elsewhere...everytime!

unprofessional waitress flagging us down in the parking lot and asking why we stiffed her and stating they are trying to make it since covid. The wait was long and portions small. could not get more garlic bread. which you pay for as an extra. Could not get strawberry sauce on a cheesecake because it was frozen. Hundred dollars . Would never recommend.

My new husband and I came up here for our honeymoon. We decided to try this place out and we’re sorrily disappointed. I got the chicken Marsala and it was flat out cold. You could tell the mushrooms were from a can and precooked this morning. There are no words to describe the spaghetti. It was clearly from a jar and old. My husband got the lasagna and that was cold and flavorless as well. No bread came with the meal. The service was not good at all. Thank McDonalds for providing us a way better meal. I would say NEGATIVE stars.

We've been coming to tep's for many years. Sadly, covid seems to have kicked them pretty hard. The food was mediocre, and their famous salad bar is a thing of the past.This makes me sad, because tep's has been a tradition with us for our twice annual Tahoe trip for many years.I hope they get it together soon.

Very nice spot to have a wonderful meal at. We stopped in here on our way into the area and had a nice visit. Friendly staff, nice selection and good food.

The food was very good. Portion size was very nice. Had enough for leftovers.
