The Loft Restaurant/Lounge

Fav place to visit during our trips to Tahoe, the one server ( lovely lady with blonde hair ) and nic are absolutely a delight and made it a worth while experience this year.

I was a bit unsure about walking into a restaurant that wasn’t packed full, and there was some hesitation after the guy at the door was working us hard about buying tickets to the magic show, but I’m so glad we stayed to eat. Our server was very cheerful and helpful, and the food was amazing. Best meal on our trip by far! The wedge salad was probably the best we’ve ever eaten. Another favorite of ours was the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque. Drinks were equally fantastic.

The food here was FANTASTIC!!! Filet Mignon (so tender), au gratin potatoes (to die for), gnocchi Bolognese (I would eat only these if I only could eat one thing for the rest of my life), blackened shrimp mac and cheese (yes please), spinach salad (fantastic) and to top it all off .....white chocolate bread pudding with blueberry compote (uhg so good)!!!! I love that everything is served in small portions so you can try so many dishes and you will love all of those dishes. I mean how many times have you ordered something in a restaurant and we're stuck with it whether you liked it or not? To top it off, the staff was incredible, friendly and attentive! It has a really cool vibe like steampunk meets speak easy. I would recommend The Loft to everyone a thousand times over!!!

A hidden gem. The food was fantastic which is good because I originally clocked this place as hype. They have live magic as well, however I didn’t see any of that. The cocktails seemed good but I had a Negroni so can’t speak on those either.

The loft has amazing shows including the famous Jon Armstrong. I really enjoyed the show he was a class act. The restaurant’s menu is incredibly delicious and presented well. I just wished that the servers were more professional and courteous. Off the gate I received a misandristic comment from the server when I haven’t even spoken to her yet. It was pretty unsettling and just shocking. It’s just unfortunate since the place is really well put together. I don’t think I will come back but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless.

We had a wonderful time both dining before and viewing Jade's magic show. Our server was very kind and knew the menu well. My Partner and I both really enjoyed the food.

Jade's magic show was a great time and she delivers some strong positive messages through her art.

We went here for dinner after hiking and was severely disappointed by the food. We ordered the duck tacos, the blue cheese wedge salad with fried pancetta, the chicken skewers and the braised pork cheek. The wedge salad is ok but the pancetta had no flavor so it only tasted of blue cheese. The chicken skewers were so chard that they tasted nothing but bitter to the point that they were inedible. The duck tacos were fine but flavorless. On top of that the staff was a bit rude and tried to force us to order even though we said we needed more time. They were also repeatedly claiming that the food was great when we started pointing out the problems; if the food was truly great they wouldn’t have to claim that it was. My brother and his girlfriend ordered the hamburger and was somewhat happy by it except they didn’t like the cooked tomatoes and the buns were a little bit too chard too. Go somewhere else, it is not worth it. We didn’t see any of the magic shows so we can’t comment on them. Atmosphere was bad because we, me and my wife, kept bumping our heads in the ceiling.

Loved this place. Wish we had found it before our trip was over we definitely would have gone back. The food was great, service was great, loved the atmosphere, and loved the magician. We watched Robert the magician do two shows and each one was amazing. Our server Todd was fantastic! This was the best dinner we had in Tahoe. Highly recommend.

A restaurant with a unique atmosphere, especially from the magic shows they host there. The staff were friendly to us, and we even go to meet one of their chefs. We loved the fired portobello mushrooms, shrimp Mac n cheese, and carpaccio

We love the Loft! Extremely talented magician every time we go! I highly recommend this South Lake Tahoe entertainment gem. Excellent food and the magic and comedy exceed the price of admission. How often does that happen?

Saw the most amazing mind blowing show here. Wanted to go back the next day. Not a bad seat in the house. Robert Hall and Reagan were the shit!!

This place is too much fun... I never thought I was a magic fan, but shoot we loved this place so much that we made a special trip to check out their other location in Reno at the GSR casino.

Surprisingly the food was exceptional! Cocktails were fantastic as expected, but we were blown away by the food. We went all in on the Tapas styled menu. My suggestion is order one of everything, ha.

Then there is the magic show. We did the adult show... still straight laced enough for kiddos, but hey I'm uncle, not a parent. Make sure you hit up the card trick table, that dude is wild.

We had a wonderful experience at The Loft in Heavenly Village! The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the entire atmosphere made for a great evening. We stayed for the magic show afterward, and it was absolutely fantasti.

If you're looking for a great dinner and a unique night out in Lake Tahoe, this is definitely a place worth visiting. We can't wait to come back! 🎩✨🍷🍽️🏔️
