Interesting menu. Enjoy the tomato soup. Really liked the Burrata appetizer. Did not care for the pork cheek. We enjoyed Malbec glass of wine.
The tapas were very good. We had 5 of choices, gnocchi, beets, herbed ciabatta, scallops, and fried potatoes. Dessert was the white chocolate bread pudding with Grand Marnier and blueberries. It was all delicious. We also attended the magic show. The seats were somewhat on the small/medium size, but the show David Goldrake presented was huge in quality. We will definitely eat at the Loft again when in South Lake Tahoe.
Last minute decision to go here for dinner. Small plates were all good. Service was good. Mixed drinks were so-so.
Our waiter for very helpful and pointed us towards some delicious options. The drinks were also very good.
The food is terrible- cold white pre sliced bread, wilted salad, the arugula pesto pasta was so thick with sauce and then random cold cheese balls on the plate The service was fine- however we made note that it was a special occasion and zero acknowledgement. The restaurant itself has the feel of a dilapidated ski lodge. I do not recommend and shame on Marriott for suggesting
First time experiencing The Loft and the Magic Show. Made reservations for dining but decided to sit at the bar and eat. Bartenders mixed great drinks and had good conversations, when they weren't busy. Small plates were outstanding: filet, pork cheeks and spicy shrimp, not to mention the bread pudding w/blueberries. Food was made in house. Magic Show excellent. He not only performed skilled slight of hand but knew how to read his audience. Kept us laughing, amazed and entertained. Definitely recommend.
When we visit South Lake Tahoe, we always make it a point to have dinner and see a show here. The food options are amazing. The buffalo tofu was so good we ordered two. Service was great. Very attentive and friendly.
This was an amazing dinner!! Good to recommend to people visiting the Tahoe area. Stay for the magic show too.
Really enjoyed the tapas - good selection and very tasty. Our server was very attentive and offered good advice on amount to order and the house favorites. Having this venue at the magic show location made it a very easy evening to enjoy the evening without the hassles of parking and changing locations.
I went with my wife last monday, had a couple drinks at the bar, valentin was our bartender, he was awesome !! We tried the portobello tempura and the filet mignon.. both were really good ! We missed the magic show, probably for next time

Started off not so good, my son ordered a sprite, was told they didn't have sprite, he opted for a ginger ale. Daughter asked for a lemonade, again not available.. Finally I ordered an Iced Tea.. Nope, also not available. These were simple drinks offered in nearly any restaurant. We asked to start off with the Brussel sprouts as our shared appetizer, and each ordered our own separate small plate of our choice for "dinner". The waitress brought out my son's dish and placed it in front of him and also the Brussel sprouts and placed it in the middle of the table. My meal and daughters meal came about 15-20 min later.. very odd. To top it all off towards the end we noticed the table behind us, who had a different server, ordered two lemonades and to our wonder, it was available! Likely would not opt to come here for dinner again. There are many other choices in the South Tahoe area if you are looking for a nice dining experience.
Fantastic small plates, food was amazing, service was awesome... it was a food experience!!!!
The Loft in South Lake Tahoe is a truly unique spot that combines fine dining, craft cocktails, and world-class entertainment all under one roof. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and cozy, with stylish lounge seating, intimate lighting, and a vibrant energy that makes it ideal for both date nights and group outings. The food is surprisingly impressive for a venue that also doubles as a theater. From creative small plates to hearty entrees, each dish feels thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. It's not cheap, but you're really paying for the whole experience—dinner, drinks, and a show all in one place. Totally worth it for a date night or if you want something different than the usual Tahoe evening.
Love Tapas style dining. The food was delicious. The service was great as well. Would definitely recommend a stop by. They also offer a magic show right off the dining room. The magician was amazing.
