thats the worst place ever! I never see a restaurant that don’t welcome customers! If you don’t want to come and get nothing but angry and long wait, just find another place! We have 2 old people and 2 kids and there was only a few customers but they don’t even allow us to seat first! Absolutely ridiculous and nonsense

They just don’t want to serve you. We went to the place and there is only two tables, 4 people dine in. The waiter told me it will be 45 minutes waiting, but, we cannot sit down at the table, even there are three tables left. The reason is “the chef will be stressed out if there are too many orders”. This is ridiculous. It is the first time I’ve ever see a restaurant won’t seat the customer when it is half empty.

Wow—The Naked Fish is by far one of the best sushi spots I’ve ever eaten at and you cannot beat the price! We ordered 6 rolls for about $120 which is far from reality compared to where we’re located.

The signatures rolls were innovative and scrumptious. Beautifully presented and typically dishes that usually seem basic were totally elevated. The staff were friendly and a lot of fun, and the overall vibe was this hip style with mellow locals that really made the spot feel cozy and familiar.

Definitely will be coming to eat here again next time I’m in Tahoe!

One of my favorite sushi spot. they are great, hands down? one of the best sushi spots. Food is fresh and all the rolls are yummy, stunna is my favorite with seared lemon on top…the appetizers are also a hit pork belly is bomba! Staff: Mindy is so kind and helpful, the chefs making all the magic happen ? are great! dined there all the 3 nights we were there awhile ago then back this summer twice :)
Order the special rolls and you won’t regret it! The classics are also good.

Naked Fish is the BEST!!! Whenever I’m in Tahoe, Naked Fish is one of the first places I go to eat. Naked Fish is a Top-Notch Japanese restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. The flavors check all the boxes, whether it’s sushi, teriyaki chicken, rice, tempura, and so much more but it’s perfect EVERY SINGLE TIME.

The waiter/waitress are always intentive checking in making sure we have enough to drink, see how the food is tasting and if there’s anything we need.

The Naked Fish is definitely one of Tahoes Gems. If you never had Naked Fish you need to try it, you’ll be hooked!

My experience was really bad ? I did not recommend this place they don't have a polite way to service and take your order ? plus our order food take a long time and when our food arrived it was very cold I order a Salmon curry ? bowl the curry and the rice were very cold and the Salmon was hot and burned black ⚫️ on bottom, the waitress ignored us and was our first time dining there they didn't tell us we have to scan the QR to see the menu nor give us the menu to see the food and prices . We were looking like idiots This is a REALLY BAD PLACE AND FOOD we drove 8 hours to Lake Tahoe Nevada, and we just wanted to eat good

We were just stopping for a bite after arriving to Tahoe and we were not expecting to find such delicious sushi in this small restaurant. 100% would recommend. Only warning is that is a small place, so probably try to reserve ahead if you are going in busy season.

Food was very good. Not a quiet atmosphere to socialize, but it did wear on us (in a good way) as we enjoyed our dinner. Took about 20mins as it was very busy in the evening but worth it. Also can get kinda expensive pretty quick.

Ok food. But they charged us $3 more for just a little extra wasabi (receipt shown in pic as evidence). What a joke.

All the staff were incredibly friendly with our dog, making us feel very welcome. The restaurant was beautifully decorated; I especially loved the sea jellyfish decor, which added a unique and charming touch to the atmosphere. The food was delicious—I ordered the Tahoe Crunch Roll, and it was fantastic! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a delight. The lychee martini was also great—quite strong and refreshing, just the way I like it. Overall, a wonderful experience that we’d love to repeat!
