Great hotel, close to the airport! Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, well maintained & Quiet hallways. Only complaint is that the pillows are way too soft. ( took away a star for this reason) would have preferred some memory foam pillows for better comfort and a well rested sleep! All AC hotels have same kind of pillows regardless of the location in the US I feel! Other than this minor issue everything else was good about the hotel!

Clean and modern hotel with convenient parking for guests. Staff was very friendly and provided helpful advice on when to leave for the flight the next day.

Unlike the Westin or other Marriott’s, this one has clean modern rooms. The location is really close to the airport. The San Francisco bay trail goes right by and offers beautiful views from the room windows in the morning.

I stay at this hotel for work and as a titanium elite member I see a lot of hotels. The facility is good, nice gym, good clean modern rooms and the bar/restaurant is pretty solid. The big issue is the service at the front desk(if you can call it service). Quite often there is no one around, but if there is, they are consistently unfriendly, not interested in helping guests or even checking you in. This is not an occasional thing, it is every time with different employees over multiple visits. The last time I showed up at 9:45 PM to check in the employee at the front desk was to busy gossiping with someone to check me in. So frustrating. I recommend another Marriott property is your best option.

The experience staying at this hotel is so far the worst compared to other Marriott hotels(W, Sheraton, Marriot, Hampton Inn or other AC hotels) in North America, Europe & Asia in the recent 10 years.

The ppl across the hallway and next to us were partying &going in and out of each other’s room even at 2 am. We tried to call front desk twice to intervene but there was no response. Later, victims from other rooms started to confront them by banging loudly on their door and yelling, and of course leaving rest of us impossible to fall asleep at all, even with ear plugs. Ringing the front desk again and got no response.

If the poor experience from nearby guests were pure bad luck, then the way how the hotel handled the case was absolutely disappointing. The front desk denied at 7 am that they were working at the front desk all night and claimed they happened to be on 5 min coffee break every-time we called. Then they told us there was no manager on site at all, so anything like this happens, the only way is to contact them by email. Of course we didn’t hear back from them until 3 days later, and they simply called and left no voicemail. And of course they didn’t reimburse the entire stay as a final resolution.

We have been Marriott Platinum Elite and Titanium Elite members for years and have experienced many Marriott hotel and resorts. AC hotel SFO’s professionalism in handling customer experience is even worse than Hampton Inn.

Did I mention as a hotel near SFO, they don’t even have shuttle to SFO since 2020?

Do not stay here. Avoid at all costs.

Left behind an expensive pair of headphones. I knew exactly where they were in the room and called the hotel to inquire if they were returned. I was told to fill out a lost item form which I did and left specific and precise directions on where they were left behind. The headset was never returned to me. Only thing one can speculate is that they were found by an employee and kept. There is no way I can provide specific information and not get the item returned.

Disgusting BLOOD & PEE stains on comforter. NOT changed at all.

Talked with front desk and only got new comforters, no new room or re-cleaning. The second one also has blood stain on it and the dirty one was not taken back.

Rude service.
I complained to the director of house keeping and she kept telling me the stain is fresh to make it worse and refused to admit it was there before I checked in although I had pictures.
She called the GM but didn’t allow me to talk to the GM because “he was not in the office”. The service does not make sense at all.

My stay at AC was quick but enjoyed. We had a beautiful view from our room, rooms were clean & up to date. 7 minutes from the airport & decently priced.
Parking was convenient until later in the evening when it’s full you have quite the hike back to the lobby. & The shower could’ve used a deep clean but overall pleased with my stay. Would recommend & stay again
