I remember visiting other Bonchon locations and getting full-sized chicken strips, but here, they cut them into much smaller pieces—more like chicken nuggets size. It was pretty disappointing. The kimchi was also subpar compared to other locations, looks like it was frozen previously and the drinks are noticeably small despite being priced the same as at other establishments that offer much bigger sizes.

Service was great though.

Bonchon was one of the first Korean fried chicken places in the Bay Area and used to be my favorite Korean fried chicken place because the fried breading is unique in that it's not very heavily breaded or thinly breaded. I love the spicy flavor the most followed by the original soy. The sauces are not overly drippy unless other places so I like it.

The only problem I have with Bonchon is that it's very inconsistent. Sometimes the drumsticks are huge...
