Typical diner food choices but prepared really well, not heavy with grease and salt but still plenty of flavour. Their French toast and waffles are served with real pale syrup. The coffee is good. This place is just good!!! Solid and reliable.Vegetarian options: Good veggie omplets, scrambles and eggs Benedict. The country potatoes are great and all the beige foods vegetarian eat. Or not. I'm not a Veg-head so not sure what the heck they deem as food.

I love Cable Car it's a small old school breakfast spit. They have plenty of booths so there is never a wait. You can get Everything from Breakfast to Burgers. It is always good & reasonably priced.A must try small business in downtown South San Francisco

Good place to eat for breakfast. Highly recommend their Denver Omelet, though quite small in portion. Good price too. If you are in the area do check this place out, you won't regret it.

Visiting Family in the area, so found this little gem within walking distance of our rental. My husband had Spinach Mushroom Swiss omelette and I got the Grand Ave omelette (Spinach, Ham and cream cheese with Hollandaise) They were absolutely delicious. Vicki was the server, and she did a fabulous job by herself during a pretty busy rush. To top it all off, we ordered a Strawberry milkshake and it was the best milkshake we've had in quite a while. If you are in the area, I definitely recommend you visit this quaint little cafe.

Decent food, mediocre service. During the weekend breakfast rush, the staff is clearly overwhelmed and service is very slow. At some point, the owner called in her daughter to help with taking orders and serving customers. There is typical American breakfast fare and more Asian-inspired items like longanisa sausages. We got the Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs and a breakfast platter with longanisa sausages. Both were very tasty but quite greasy, which is my main complaint about the food. However, they definitely know how to do breakfast foods right, and this is evident by the constant flow of regulars who the all sit at the counter so they can chat with the staff and eat their meals at the same time.

Waitress asked me to move mid meal and when the food came she just tossed it at me and said nothing. People here are rude and cold !! Food is bland and meats are pre frozen and not fresh!! Very

Simple, unpretentious, and delicious comfort diner food which brings me back extremely fond childhood memories. Huge fluffy pancakes, crispy waffles, fantastic bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and omelettes and other classic breakfast offerings are what keeps bringing me back. You can see a lot of regulars that also keep dining here as well. Worth it all!

Tried to call in an order I was asked to hold. 8 mins on hold I hear the lady take multiple payments and orders! Never once came back to say anything to me. I hung up after holding so long. Guess I wont ever try this place. Terrible customer

I work in the mall and come here often, the couple that own the Cafe are super nice and the food comes out speedy and I can’t express how delicious the food is as they’ve added they’re own special twist to the menu. My favorite is the Tuna Sandwich strongly recommended. :

A little a bit pricey, but a very nice breakfast. They charge extra for using a credit card I did not post that anywhere. The server wasn’t very attentive. She was talking to the cooks.

We went here for breakfast last week with a friend. The food was great. We ordered the corn beef hash and the chicken fried steak breakfasts. Totally worth it. The chicken fried steak had green onions and a gravy lightly flavored with soy sauce which was a nice unexpected touch. I ordered poached eggs and they were cooked perfectly. I loved the vintage diner vibe, and the staff greeted regulars by name. My cup of coffee was bottomless like a classic diner too, and they gave me fresh cream instead of creamer cups! Great experience.
