Camber is a newly opened restaurant and bar in South San Francisco, described as a hidden gem on the Peninsula and one of the best spots in the area. The beautiful space offers a stylish ambiance that is open concept yet intimate, inviting and quiet, with soft jazzy background music and a large bar. The chef has put together an incredible lunch and dinner menu, with every dish flavorful, balanced and beautifully plated. Favorites include the crudo, caesar salad, spiced olives, and braised beef cheek. The daily special, a lobster and shrimp po’ boy, and the Paper Plane cocktail are also outstanding. The bar program is excellent, with craft cocktails that rival those of bars in the midst of the city. Service is attentive, knowledgeable, and top-notch, at a surprisingly reasonable price. Camber is fantastic for happy hour, lunch, dinner, or company events, though it is not open on weekends.
