We ordered pork chicharon, lomo saltado, empanada, plantains and mocktails and they're all very delicious. Chico Marx has great food and drinks, nice ambience and excellent service.

I can't say enough about this restaurant. Interesting menu. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Cool, comfortable vibe. I was on a work trip and ended up back there 3x in the same week. Highly recommend the guacamole, breakfast burrito, croquettes, vegetarian wrap, and little gem salad. I regret that I didn't try dessert! I had already posted a review on Google but since I found this place via OpenTable I wanted to chime in here too. I can see why it came so highly recommended.

Wanted to try this location when Yelp recommended. Itās under these office buildings close by the freeway on 101 and Cafe de Casa. We were seated right away and we ordered: fried Calamari as appetizers, lomo saltado, Huachinango al ajillo (fried fish), and pollo con tajadas. We also ordered drinks, their house margarita and their hibiscus mule. Their food was not bad, and their drinks were ok. Not as strong as we would like but ok. However, to be honest, their portions is not that big especially if you are big eater. FYI.

Location easy to find, secluded and off the highway. Not crowded and had the place to ourselves almost. Food and service was wonderful and delicious. Big portions for the value. Great place for a party or event.

We came in about 45 minutes before closing. Made a reservation in open table for 7:15. The bartender welcomed us in from afar and told us where to sit at a booth. The wait staff took their time coming over to us, they more concerned on cleaning up for closing . The Smoke n Spice cocktail was good, they offer happy hour until closing. The Ceviche is worth trying. We didn't get so spend much time as they were closing at 8pm.

I liked the interior of this place, classy and modern. The parking situation was interesting, I parked in one hour, others parked in the garage up the hill. The restaurant was pretty empty, but still we didnāt get a lot of service. Early on our drinks came quickly but then we were kind of ignored. No big deal, we were lost in conversation. The potatoes, plantains, empanadas were all very tasty. The margaritas were pretty standard, nothing special not particularly strong either. But then the churros? Real weird. Maybe the oil was old or too hot? Not sure but we didnāt even finish them. And honestly, Iāve never met a churro I didnāt like (and then immediately devour while trying not to burn my mouth). That was disappointing. Maybe an off day. This place is clearly for people just finishing work in the office building, itās a nice place but probably wouldnāt make the trip out again.
Everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Food arrived at a great cadence and was delicious. The restaurant itself has a great vibe - it was perfect for our team dinner.

Chico Marx never disappoints. The food is always excellent and the staff is always very pleasant. I am so glad the restaurant is open Friday evenings because it is a great spot for a Friday night dinner. We enjoyed several small bites and a cocktail. Great way to start the weekend!
